In the meantime, “progressives” have pretty much banished any mention of Venezuela from their lips. That’s how they deal when outcomes contradict their dearest notions: “crickets”.
Odd, but I don’t notice a movement of North American progressives flocking to Venezuela fields to help out. This could be a very good educational tool about the nature of socialism, but I don’t think anyone is capable of learning. They never have.
