  1. Twitter Inc is precisely the kind of investment I steer away from. It has yet to see a profitable quarter, and its price per sales is over six (for every dollar you invest you get about 15 cents of annual revenue).
The bet by investors is that Twitter will continue to grow quickly and figure out how to be profitable.
And sometimes that happens with large tech companies and when it does it is highly lucrative for investors. But not usually.

  3. I see they’re mindlessly repeating the falsehood that he led a campaign of abuse against Leslie Jones.

  4. Although Debra Saunders is the Comicles “token” conservative writer … I find it curious that she would allow the paper to publish a caption which included:
“… after he led a campaign of prolonged abuse against Leslie Jones …”
Nonsense. Milo simply MOCKED the horrible womyn-remake of the film formerly known as Ghostbusters. Whiny, crybaby, “actress” Leslie Jones took umbrage and so she and Milo exchanged insults. Good clean fun. Milo is highly literate and usually rips everyone he mocks a new one … in words they can scarcely understand without trips to a digital Thesaurus. I do not recall reading about his “campaign” ? Did he ask his followers to hurl (less articulate) insults at this thin-skinned, dark-skinned, Hollywooden Hustler ? Hardly. She stuck her goofy-looking head out of her West Hollywood abode and got treated to a wider variety of opinions than she might get from the producers of BET … so what ? Maybe she should grow a set ? It might help her overcome her times of lunar discomfort.

  5. I wonder how someone like Leslie Jones who makes a living by being a professional racist can be perceive herself as being targeted by evil racists as opposed to critics of a substandard performance that insults their intelligence. The term dumbed-down for lefties – what goes around comes around – get over it princess.

  6. Social media: chewing gum for the mind.
Very well stated !!! The same can be said for broadcast TV.

  7. People like Kate, and Coulter, and Trump, are the ones who keep Facebook and Twitter going. Everyone who bitterly clings will keep them going forever. Everyone who foolishly keeps their account, instead of deleting it like an sane person would. “Social media” is only as important as you want it to be. You can listen to your moral and intellectual superiors and stay on. Or do something else.

  8. What/who is a twitter? Something for twits? And more importantly, who give a rat’s ass?

  9. Remember that when Twitter and Facebook deny service it is because they are a private company and can determine their own rules. But when a baker denies service, they are taken to court. Double standard or what, eh?

  10. Yep…my feeling as well…have no use for any of that CRAP…Instagram, twitter, snapchat you name it
I do confess to having a FB account that I do use…more to laugh at the many memes that pop up….but for the rest – pay…waste of flipping time…

  11. “He told the New York Times the ban launched “the beginning of the end for Twitter.'”
We could never be that fortunte.

  12. “He told the New York Times the ban launched “the beginning of the end for Twitter.'”
If only we could be that fortunate.

  14. For the record; I have not now, nor have I ever had, or ever will have … a Twitter account. It sounds like a giant leftist circle jerk … blowing verbal splooge on each other. I like the emphasis on the root “Twit” … it reminds me of one of my favorite Monty Python skit … “The Twit Olympics”. Too bad that ALL comedy is now run by unfunny leftist Twits … who cannot be counted on to MOCK themselves.

  15. Sorry Kenji, it wasn’t the twit Olympics. It was the Upperclass Twit of the Year.
My favourite was the one who was supposed to slam the car door loudly enough to wake the neighbour, but wound up running over himself instead.
