  1. I believe the Brits will leave a sinking ship. The comment I heard was crony capitalism within the EU. It also exists in Canada to a bigger extent than many citizens realize.
The comparison to Switzerland was an incredible condemnation of the EU.

  2. There could be no bigger endorsement for Britain’s exit than arse-licker Morneau’s exhortation for it to remain.

  3. Geeze, when you mentioned “arse licker” Mary Walsh immediately came to mind.
Eeewww, that is not a nice picture……..

  4. The BREXIT vote will simply reveal whether the leftists and NWO’s have already succeeded in flooding enough invaders into Britain to tip the balance of power forever into the hands of the left. Britain is hanging by a thread … as are Canada and the USA. Obama has been furiously and illegally opening our borders to push America over the tipping point of permanent leftism … leading to a Socialist States of America … and erasure of our Constitution.
Please Brits ! Make your last stand end better than Custer’s

  5. Where is “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” when it’s needed?
    The Ministry of Silly Walks.

  6. 6:55 “Democracy works only if you know who your representatives are.”
    Proportional vote rates poorly.

  7. It is interesting that we are concerned with Great Britain as the British consider EXITING – thus BREXIT. The excuses given are the over extension of bureaucratic powers, the rule making by ukase, no political or bureaucratic accountability, and the embedding of power to the few. It seems we have all seen this earlier under the National SOCIALISTS. However, like in the North American school systems, the socialists have had the time and non-supervision to embed their ideas into our children. They want power, and serfs, and slaves, and they are training our children for those positions.
Why are the North Americans sitting back fat dumb and happy tsk tsking the Brits. Maybe we should start popularly supporting our own TEXIT, or OKIEXIT, or ALBERTAEXIT. We do have to be careful how we approach the subject though. We have our modern geheim statspolitiziset (DHS) up to keep us in line. The Facebook crony socialists are censoring our net expressed ideas. Of course, we can also LTBSAFITD!

  8. ” However, like in the North American school systems, the socialists have had the time and non-supervision to embed their ideas into our children. They want power, and serfs, and slaves, and they are training our children for those positions.”
This is exactly what is going and many of us have known this is happening for decades. The thread previous to this is a perfect example of the extent of the power these progressives/communists feel they have today. They are right out into the open with their aims.
For the sake of freedom I hope the British people vote Brexit.
eastern paul, now that was funny. Just close your eyes for a moment and imagine that.

  9. 72 votes against EU measures by Britian and 72 EU measures successfully carried. So much for the value of having greater say in EU policy. That alone is enough to support the “Leave” vote. Staying is utterly pointless. Unemployed North Shield fishermen helplessly watching other EU nations harvesting thousands of tons of fish within a few miles of the mouth of the Thames is an exclamation on the point that the EU bureaucracy makes the rules that serves them best. God speed to Britain on getting out of the EU quagmire and getting on with a much brighter purpose filled future.

  10. A few years ago I was chatting to a British couple who were over here for another Alberta vacation. They were in their mid sixties. I was born in England (came here in ’55 at age 8), so we had some things in common. They said that Blighty had changed and, literally with tears in his eyes, the man said. “Our only regret as not moving to Canada 30 years ago, but now it is too late for us.”
And now what of the plight of Alberta under the autocratic, eco-fascism of the NDPs? This is the MOST undemocratic government ever in Alberta and we are in trouble. Big trouble, like England. We will weather three more years, but a united right (????) will have years of unraveling the damage done by Shannon Phillips and Rachel Notley. Phillips has had a nonstop eco-orgasm since being appointed minster of the environment. She was merely a green weenie before and now she has been empowered to enact and enforce absurd environmental laws that will do nothing to protect the environment.
Worse, for every one billion dollars we are forced to pay to pretend to change global climate, those billions are taken away from REAL environmental protection and mitigation.
There is a Hitler-like movement in the USA to prosecute “deniers”, well as someone has noted, then alarmists like Phillips should be prosecuted for crimes against the environment and against humanity.

  11. I get the impression that Shannon Phillips has a screw loose. Maybe she was the obnoxious kid in high school that nobody liked and, now that she is in a position of authority, she’s getting revenge on anyone who slighted her.

  12. Hopefully the English have more balls than the Scots did in their recent vote.
Hopefully the people of western Canada have more balls than Quebec did.

  13. John Cleese endorsed Leave.
Meanwhile, Sinn Féin (aka the IRA) have endorsed Remain, guessing, correctly, that the EU will be the undoing of England. That it will be the undoing of Ireland too doesn’t seem to bother them

  14. I hope the Brits leave, but I have my doubts – these are no longer the people who built an empire – more like ‘safe spacers’ nowadays, I fear.

  15. It has always made me wonder where all the dysfunction graduates would find employment in the real world of a competitive market place… The EU can’t possibly fund all the useless flat liners (civil servants) unless they get a World wide Carbon TAX…Not happening! (The survivors of WWIII may find a common cause).
The EU is winding down even if a majority vote to stay…the real ugly stuff needs a Super majority, or ~50% will flee (those most likely to succeed) and only the worst performers will suck the free Vodka maintaining themselves in a vegetative state…
Kiss the EU bye…nothing like a fresh start for England…
    JMHO

  16. The Remain side claims the British economy and maybe even the world economy will collapse if Exit wins, which is ridiculous. An economy is the sum total of all acts of voluntary trade performed by individuals for mutual benefit. What really hurts that is government intervention.
In 1992 the entire Canadian establishment swore up and down that all hell would break loose if the Charlottetown Accord was rejected, which it duly was. The result was basically nine months of STFU.
    Unbiased prediction: Remain, marginally.
