Years ago 60 minutes did a powerful expose on the Illinois Power company.
However the IPC was smart enough to demand in return for doing the piece with 60 minutes that they be allowed to film everything that 60 minutes filmed.
Needless to say the result that 60 minutes produced for the public was entirely different than what they actually filmed.
And IPC released a video that showed the 60 minutes version along with their unedited footage.
It was damning and the media buried it.
But it’s out there on the net. Worth a look.
