I was awoken this morning by some Canada geese that decided to hang around our complex. As many as 5 of them walked around on the roof of one or two of the high-rises and called to each other.
It was an unusual, though pleasant, way of waking up.
And then there was the pigeon that seemed to camp out on the balcony above me…..

“the chances of a La Niña developing have jumped to over 70 per cent.”
“As a result, while the El Niño Advisory continues due to current conditions, NOAA forecasters have issued a La Niña Watch, based on what they’re seeing in computer model runs. “La Niña Watch in effect
What are the chances of a La Niña developing in the aftermath of the near-record strength El Niño we’ve been seeing over this past year?
As of the mid-March analysis by forecasters at Columbia University’s Earth Institute, the odds were fairly even between some mix of El Niño and neutral conditions developing, and the current pattern being replaced by a La Niña. With the latest update, however, the chances of a La Niña developing have jumped to over 70 per cent.”
