Once again the solid allies of Canada and the USA show their resolve and true intent. The Saudis who brought the Towers down and the Turks who broker Iranian black market oil and arm ISIS.
My simplistic approach to the ME is to guarantee Israel’s existence and let the rest go about their business of killing one another. Islam is an enemy of the West and the sooner that is realized the more likely we will survive.

A German comedian is going to be prosecuted for making jokes about Erdogan. Insulting the president of Turkey is a crime…. in Turkey. The comedian makes his jokes in Germany. Since when does making a joke about a leader of a foreign country become a crime in one’s own?
What’s next? Will it stop at current leaders? Will France eventually file criminal charges against anyone who makes jokes about Napoleon Bonaparte?
I guess that’s what open borders mean, doesn’t it? Then again, I always thought that the EU was a bad idea.

@gellan: Well I read that one of the Muslim males had a Christian wife who he said had her throat slashed by ISIS for refusing to renounce her religion. Now I found that odd, if true, that Muslim male must be one of few tolerate modern thinking Muslims.

@JustThinking: I wrote “modern” not “moderate”. A ‘modern’ thinking Muslim is at a much higher civilized level than what is called a ‘moderate’ Muslim. I did not think that a Muslim man would marry a non-Muslim woman in the Middle East and not insist she convert. Does not compute. Hopefully he was not the one who betrayed her to save himself.
