Heather Mac Donald pokes at the ongoing rot of academia:
Earlier this week, several dozen Emory students barged into the school’s administration building to demand protection from “Trump 2016” slogans that had been written in chalk on campus walkways. Acting out a by-now standardized psychodrama of oppression and vulnerability, the students claimed that seeing Trump’s name on the sidewalk confirmed that they were “unsafe” at Emory. College sophomore Jonathan Peraza led the allegedly traumatised students in a chant: “You are not listening! Come speak to us, we are in pain!” … As the Emory protesters entered the administration building, they drew on the Communist Manifesto to express their pitiable plight: “It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love each other and support each other. We have nothing to lose but our chains.”

When did “I can’t handle this” become a statement of empowerment? I guess if you have no accomplishments or achievements to talk about, you try to somehow up-sell your mediocrity.
Some words in chalk on a sidewalk hurt their precious feelings! Boo how hoo….
“Sitting across a room from someone with whom she disagrees is something that she, as an empowered modern woman, an intellectual, simply cannot do.”
THEREFORE, WOMEN REMAIN, THE WEAKER SEX ….
The sad thing is that students like this will actually be the safest during the zombie apocalypse. What zombie would risk contracting Mad Lib Disease by eating an infected brain?
And WTF? $63K per year for this nonsense?

Listen up, snowflakes: YOU ARE THE ONE PERCENT!
Humph.
Why promote crap like this? What does it accomplish? Why enable these poor examples of humanity with any kind of recognition.
They’re never going to get anywhere as Living Oxymorons. Aggressive Pussies. Choose one.
“$63,000” per year…. who are these people that can afford 4X63 = $252,000 for a college education? With costs this high, clearly this is an elite university and comes with all the bells and whistles on campus as well as “expectations” upon graduation.
Instead of simply mocking these ludicrous “events”, micro offenses, safespaces, and windmill tilting “protests”, I for one would like to know more about the participants in terms of their background and parents. That might just tell a story in itself. Also, I’d like to know what degree they are expecting to receive.
Why is their not more in-depth investigative journalism?
“who are these people that can afford 4X63 = $252,000 for a college education?”
I’m fairly sure these are the same people who want their Democrat politicians to write-off their student loans, Yes?
Presumably after an extensive discussion of what word and number all
the exhausted snowflakes present would find most painful to their inner
beings, one of their fittest comrades hauled itself to the chosen “scene
of the crime” and carefully wrote the terror inducing outrage in chalk.
“What about the children”, indeed.
Most frightening is that the worst of these creepy politically correct terrorists will end up somewhere in the grievance industry or working for the Deep State itself, burning with an unholy desire for control.
