  1. Glenn Reynolds: A Trump wave is on the way
As plebes make the Donald increasingly acceptable, expect elite Trump supporters to come out of the closet.

In his terrific book, Private Truths, Public Lies:The Social Consequences of Preference Falsification, Timur Kuran writes about the phenomenon he calls “preference falsification”: People tend to hide unpopular views to avoid ostracism or punishment; they stop hiding them when they feel safe.
    ………………………………………………..
Novelist Bret Easton Ellis, for example, recently tweeted: “Just back from a dinner in West Hollywood: shocked the majority of the table was voting for Trump but they would never admit it publicly.” What he describes is preference falsification — but if people stop hiding, it will become a cascade. And Ellis himself has started that process with this tweet. Meanwhile, confronted with PC nonsense, college students have started chanting ”Trump! Trump!” (Law professor Ann Althouse has been predicting this cascade for weeks.)

  2. The National Post Headline:
“Vancouver Island’s hinterland attracts refugees desperate to buy a family home”
    http://business.financialpost.com/personal-finance/mortgages-real-estate/vancouvers-island-hinterland-attracts-affordability-refugees
Their web-teaser for the story says, “Nanaimo becoming ‘backyard of Vancouver’ for refugees desperate to buy a home”
First of all, if they still consider Nanaimo a ‘hinterland’ they’re basing it on 1980’s impressions. Pretty nice town with stunning landscapes, a gorgeous waterfront and low unemployment.
Now read the story and see if you can find a single sentence that refers to ‘refugees’, immigrants, Syrians or anything other than economic refugees from Vancouver trying to escape the high costs.
What the hell has become of the National Post these days?

  3. I had another comment deleted on CBC.Ca today. The headline: ”Harper’s former chief of staff pushes for proportional representation.
Guy Giorno says proportional representation will make elections fair, democratic and representative.”
My comment was: ”Another no brainer from Ottawa.”
Guess I have to get to like proportional representation, ”or else” get discriminated upon by the CBC!!
Even if the CBC is going against 85% of Canadian voters!!

  5. Also glad to see the University stand up and fire this Socialists Witch.
Hope she gets blackballed from every teaching job she applies for, and never attains that glorious tenure..
And this should be a fair Warning to all the other Socialists, Feminists, Witches, out there in College Fairyland, especially those that think they control the College Campuses..

  6. anybody watch ‘Holmes on Homes’?
isn’t it wonderful these folks can cough up to and over 50 grand at the snap of a finger to fix *someone else’s* screwups? I’m in the wrong line of work. can we have a halt-reset-restart like the old days at the mainframe console?

  7. Kinda puts a punctuation mark on Rubio’s desperation play last night. Trump just put the field in a chokehold … and now we’re counting-down time before the Establishment to goes to sleep. Completely.

  8. Thanks for the link. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a long time but been “afraid” to talk about because I believed I would be condemned for it. Yes, that’s a cowards way. I admit it. Societal pressure is a bitch (pun intended).
Here is something that’s been perhaps overlooked however. I know many western men who have taken wives from other countries… Mexico, Philipines, Thailand, South America for examples. And count me among them. There’s a reason for that. So maybe Western women might just one day wake up and find that they’re on the B list.
In the meantime, I’ll continue in my cowardly ways ….

  9. Me No Dhimmi, thanks so much for this link. It touches on many non-politically correct, abhorrent, discriminating and offensive truths.
    I loved it.
