  1. This is exactly what happened to Senator McCarthy back in 1968.

With the beating that LBJ took in New Hampshire it opened the door for RFK to enter the race and looked to be the odds on favorite until he was assassinated. Hubert Humphrey in the meantime came a LBJ’s (establishment) surrogate and picked up the nomination in spite of having a huge popular vote deficit. This double dealing was nothing new and the media complicity made the election very close in spite of the fact that the Dems at that time were very unpopular. This is going to be a repeat of the same old record as Hillary will be the nominee in spite of the popular wish. The wikipedia entry is really interesting.

  2. With her superdelegates in tow, Hillary has the nomination locked up. No way they turn on her, she’s all they got, not Joe Biden, not Sanders and certainly not Bloomberg. Sanders isn’t her problem, the FBI is – that is who can derail her campaign. She can’t count totally on political cover; sure Obama will protect her from criminal charges should they be recommended.
Her amazing poor judgment and arrogance, along with her disastrous performance in Benghazi and non-accomplishments as Sec of State will be a big problem for her on the general election trail. Expecting Candy Crowley Cover isn’t a sure thing this time. Obama pretended to represent change, but HRC is old news well past their best before date, along with her husband, who may be joining her in the defendant’s box soon for influence peddling.
Trump insults his GOP opponents, not due to theirs, but as a signal to Hillary if she tries to sling mud, he will give it back and them some. He can play the insulted victim too and will crush her attempts to say matters have been litigated, or dealt with or can’t be talked about. His media savvy precludes that.
Too bad the RINOs and so-called GOP establishment don’t get this. Bush and Cruz make me laugh, they go after Trump, then cry when he answers their attacks in kind. We saw this BS here with the constant, from day one of Harper’s ascendancy, insults against him, then he was painted as the negative, bad guy bully when he gave it back to them, ensuring no serious discussions of policy differences.
If that works for the Dems there they will get the same thing we got an image and legacy concerned incompetent who already has experience at making precisely wrong decisions and embarrassing this country with his simplistic, naïve, sheltered boy in the bubble so-called leadership and tax grabs.

  3. There is nothing POOR about OLD HILLARIOUS; just check the Clinton Foundation receipts ledger.
She should fit right in with casinos and the Chicken Ranch; trying to angle on who will ‘pimp her ride’.
Hillarious could sell herself as the ne’re do well gunslinger ‘Ben Ghazi’; hey its worth a SHOT!

He’s already campaigning to win the independent and soft Democrat voters. As an elitist, Hillary will not do well.
As for the nomination, I’d agree she has a lock on it, except that Obama may decide Bernie needs the opportunity to finish transforming America.

  5. Meh. Hillary will just have Dirty Harry Reid round-up all the illegal hotel maids, Muslim Uber drivers, and gaming UNIONISTAS to cram the ballot boxes for that old mummified “woman” candidate. Actually, Hillary is more like a shim … and Huma is the lipstick partner. The FIX is in … a soft Clinton coup

    On the button.

  7. I hear that Hillary the Windhag is wanting the infamous Anitta Hill as her chosen Chief Justice and as we remember her lies she spewed against Clerence Thomas
