    I see alot of people bashing both its sad. they are both far from perfect but i think their strengths accent each others weaknesses and i think they could do well together.
    No commoner like me or you willever get in to create the eutopia we desire first we cant articulate what that is and second as soonas a rougharound the edges truth telling conservative steps into the ring people like the folks here spend their entire energy on systematically bashing them it’s like a gag reflex for concervatives and the defence of this is always the same “well if he cant do x then he shows he is clearly not fit for office”
    like this ….well he was unfaithful in his marriage…clearly not fit for office….or he has massive credit card debt clearly not fit for office, or what have you …he had a divorce clearly not fit for office…..in the 8th grade he hit a car with a snowball clearly not fit for office…..in college he attended a frat party where a girl was later raped even though he had no clue about it and was never involved he is clearly a bad judge of character and is definitely not fit for office…..he placed his salad fork inside his meal fork clearly has no pedigree and no class gosh how did we end up with this low life….clearly not fit for office….his wife had a job once and that was clearly controversial because she along with him were conspiring and lining their pokets i mean clearly cant you see the conflict of interest here ….clearly not fit for office….he once knew a guy in high school who did something that was controversial he clearly not fit for office….his dad passed his family business onto him like seriously who does that this guy is a spoiled brat clearly not fit for office.

We are to love our neighbors as ourselves how come we “conservatives continuously rip apart any and everyone. the venom put toward Sarah palin in here was unbelievable and she although not perfect was a great politician who really does represent america and its values but so many came in here bashing her and insulting her intelligence. if they are highly educated well then they are an elitist if they are not university educated then they are a red neck bumpkin its crazy.
    I would be happy with any trump, Cruz,Carson. because on the other side there is a power hungry nasty wicked heart beast who will stop at nothing to seize the power,and you have an openly astute proud socialist running i will take Cruz and his flaws ,Trump and his flaws, or Carson and his flaws all week and twice on Sunday if it means keeping the enemy away from the levers of power.

    2) there will never be a satisfactory candidate for conservatives and why we will lose.
    (Side note : look at the gutter shat the left has run for decades Dion, Trudeau, may ( 9/11 truther) Clinton , Ignatieff , Ect Ect ….but a conservative candidate had a divorce and holy shat ….better burn the f$&ker at the stake . This is why we lose the self righteous piousness of conservatives is pathetic like you reading this are so f$&kin perfect yet you expect a higher standard from those you want to represent you?   15. If you want to see real ugliness, then go to Instapundit’s liberal-left and conservative MSM anti-Trump links (usually via Ed O’Driscoll) and read the comments there. It’s disgusting and that’s something I don’t want to see around here. I take it Doug is of that mind too.
    So, yes, bluetech, the first link is (rightly) pro-Cruz by showing how awful Matthews is. I took the second link to be anti-Trump because MSNBC’s Scarborough isn’t exactly a conservative stalwart especially when around the same time this week Matthews was praising Trump. (Or pretending to at least.) And lance (I’m pretty sure it was lance and if not, I apologize), has run anti-Trump items in the past to push Cruz so that’s how I took the post to be and not as report on how awful Matthews (or CNN in the second link?) is.
    That’s what had us castigating lance and not trying to defend Matthews or the MSM, or us being upset by an implied pro-Cruz link.

Simply put – THIS conservative Christian … born-again, fundie, bible-thumper … or whatever simplistic label is pasted to my forehead … IS voting for Trump (until further notice) for all the reasons previously articulated, I.e. he ISN’T one of “them” (among others). You will notice that “the only true Christian” Cruz is having to walk-back all of his poorly-applied Jesuz-talk after the Iowa win. THIS bible-thumper finds it IDIOTIC for a US Presidential candidate to wear his faith on the sleeve … just to secure the LOONEY Christian vote. WAKE THE HELL UP ! Bible-belters !
