Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Oh my goodness, that was hilarious.
Cows. They will sh*t in the water trough and then stand there and bawl they can’t drink the water.
Veritable Einsteins compared to our Alberta ND enviro minister.
Hey Kate, no fair! I expected something on Judy Rebick and Libby Davies.
I thought possibly the current Federal cabinet.
It deserves a soundtrack:

Watch it … you’ll thank me later.
the same way there are human geniuses noted for figuring things out, I am utterly convinced the same is true with countless other mammalians.
And equally convinced the bigger they are the more capable of GENUINE and strongly felt range of emotions.
contrary to the schientishts view of my early years before I had doggies and friends with critters when it was all dismissed as ‘instinct’.
today’s skill testing question: what is the gigantic amount of brain matter in the skull of a typical whale used for?
A: my hunch, they remember everywhere they’ve been, what they saw and smelled and heard, and then when they gather as they do, all that ‘singing’ is a complex very compact language employed to share their experiences since the last gathering.
just a hunch.
I asked my mother if she had a pet when she was young, she said that growing up on a mixed
farm, all the animals were either working animals or livestock. She did say she had a special bond with one of the black and white cows. I asked her what she named her cow.
She looked at me and chuckled and said,”Snowball”,but that’s what we called all the black and white cows.
Since then, I have a soft spot for cows.

@The Glengarrian: “Cows”? You mean liberals, right?
Damn, has anyone else realised just how damned hot country and farm girls are?
Wow cows are intelligent and sentient creatures capable of complex emotions and possess a will to survive?? Makes me want to torture and murder them.
