  4. Just wondering, Would’ve it been racist for the cartoonist to depict obama’s two kids, what ever their names are, out in front of him as monkeys, like she did with Cruz, or would’ve it been racist, if she depicted obama’s kids as something other than monkeys?
    The media’s loosing and they know it. Saw it on the faces and heard it in the words of Mika and Chrissy Tingells all this week. They’re trying to get the word out to Dem minions without having to scream FIRE!
    Hillary rode Bill’s coattails all the way here, now she will be buried in them.

As a free speech absolutist, I could care less about the cartoon, but the irony is in the obvious transference since the organ grinder should more appropriately be Mrs Clinton or Obama while the dancing monkeys should be and in reality, are, the media. Cruz, while being interviewed by Mark Steyn on Fox News, thought the adds (responsible for this reaction) were in fun and humorous. He may have overlooked the fact that the left is generally humourless, comprised of dour-faced zombie-socialists and always on a mission. I’m sure Cruz is not the least bit surprised nor concerned.

  15. They are VERY nasty on the left. This has been preoccupying my thinking recently. I bumped into an article at Salon which featured someone on the left vs. a Conservative pundit. I could not belief how scathing the anti-Conservative comments were — not based on anything the person actually said, but about the person’s looks, and similar personal slurs. What floored me is that I did think Salon was a little bit high-brow . . . looks like not; they are right down there in the gutter.
    Concerned about the tone of politics in Canada over the last ten years? Ask yourself where all that nastiness originated? Many people on the Liberal/left who go into politics are narcissists in my view. (With Liberals they are narcissists; with the NDP, often union thugs.) That rather explains the problematical political tone we have been putting up with during the Harper years in government. But the left with never acknowledge their culpability here, and the media will never call them on it (some in the media are just as bad!.

  31. Leftists know that conservatives are self censoring in this regard(Conservatives are Pro-Family + Pro-Life) because of their principles and world view.
    When Leftist politicians display their spawn in political Ads they are cynically doing it to capture the 40% LIV vote who don’t understand that Leftists are the Champions of “Kill Un-Born Babies”, “Anti-Family” Legislation/Cultural view.
    There isn’t a possibility of Tit-for-Tat which would cause Conservatives to destroy the trust of their own principles regarding the sanctity of Life and Family.
    What Conservatives need to do in response is point out that “cartoons” like this are the natural declension of the Death Oriented Anti-Life/Anti-Family world view of the Leftist Paradigm and state unequivocally that Leftist are baby killers and anti-Family.
    In conclusion: This cartoon should be condemned as a cynical anti-family attack of which it is so usual that only the pattern of Leftist behaviour itself enabling it needs to be pointed out to LIVs.

    The proper response to the cartoon above would be to copy it, put Obama’s head on, and then post BOTH OF THEM, side by side, saying “Which one is racist, and why?”. Of course, I thought a similar approach might have worked with the Mohammed cartoons – put a picture of “Piss Christ” (a crucfix in a jar of urine) next to one of the innocuous cartoons, and ask “Which one is blasphemy, resulting in death, and which is art?”.
