  1. There will be more. Success breeds failure. We have managed to keep war away from our countries for so long we have bred too many generations in complacency and comfortable luxury to to continue to succeed at keeping war away from our countries. We are going to have to the next one at home.

  2. According to BBC (TV, live), preliminary indications are that it’s an armed robbery gone wrong. It’s at a gas station, apparently.

  3. False alarm. It was just armed Muslims doing a simple robbery. The robbers and police are hugging and drinking champagne in solidarity.

  5. Last evening my girlfriend asked what I think of all that, I said there will be more terrorist attacks in the coming years, not less…because the more we show our tender belly, the more the hyenas will attack us.
    Taking in 25,000 Muslims “refugees” ( and another 100,000 in 2016 ), and letting them build thousands of Mosques on our lands ( Canada, USA, France, England etc etc ) are both part of what I call ” showing our tender belly” if you were wondering.
    Being a female and having the motherly nurturing instinct in her DNA my girlfirend, like Justin Trudeau ( how manly of him! haha! ) believes that the nicer we are to Muslims ( who of course are not all terrorists but that does not change anything, they are still incompatible with us ) the less the terrorists will attack us.
    How naive, how Chamberlain-esque of them
    We have been nice to Muslims for centuries and in the last few decades our being nice has increased so much it has turned into grovelling and being total Dhimmis…yet many of them still want to take our lands, convert us to Islam and many still want to kill us.
    I love my girlfriend so it is a topic we don’t usually discuss.
    There will be more attacks not less. I am 99.9% certain of that.
    You can not appease hungry hyenas.

  8. Your girlfriend makes the same mistake as many naive Canadians. We bring Western/Christian sensibilities when assessing the issue. Muslims think differently. If they claim to want a world caliphate, why would we take them seriously? Muslims have a different set if values. When you acknowledge those values, it is obvious that integration will not work — unless Muslim remain a small minority or give up their Muslim beliefs. The western world has been fighting Islam for centuries. They are not like previous groups of immigrants. Other groups were happy to integrate. Muslims have shown no evidence of wanting to do so.

    Even if many values between faiths can be interchangeable, the problem is with the mindset. If you are believer in Islam and Allah as the only and everything, you are obligated to convert others, come ISIS or moderate watered down method. The idea of today’s peaceful coexistence is great for various denomination of Christianity and Judaism, yet applying it to Islam is an utter nonsense. Converting or optionally enslaving infidels is as fundamental to a Muslim as a Sunday mass in a Catholic.
    btw…don’t underestimate Europe – it has been just resting – continent known for re-inventing killing.

  12. It is fine to say that not all Muslims are terrorist and that is true. What concerns me is that the ‘silent majority’ by all appearances either says nothing when such acts are carried out or more importantly silently agree with those acts.
    That might not be true but when Jewish Canadians were peacefully demonstrating last year in Calgary they were attacked by Muslims and I saw no Arabs stepping up to defend the demonstrators. In fact the RCMP forced the demonstrators to disperse, taking away their right of free speech.
    Why do I fear that the silent Muslim majority is simply treading water until strong enough to make demands that will not/cannot be denied. That is happening in Europe now. What is not making news about France is Muslim ghettos particularly in the southern cities where French police refuse to patrol. French sovereignty has been supplanted by Sharia law in these enclaves.

  13. Hmmm, apparently a bank robbery. After the robery, a woman and two children were held hostage. One hostage taker was killed, the others got away. Gallic efficiency!

  14. Funny that the precautionary principle doesn’t apply to Muslims, a portion of whom cause real death, yet it applies enthusiastically to a substance, CO2, that is essential to all life.

    It is rather more to a Muslim. A Catholic can miss mass most of his life and do all sorts of things his religion says he ought not, and at the end repent and be forgiven. Islam isn’t that forgiving.
    Christians are supposed to spread their faith by living the example of Christ. Mohammed said make converts by conquest, and kill those who refuse and those who become apostate.

    I have noticed that terrorists yelling “allahau akbar” has been changed to the yelling “god is great” in many news reports in last week or so.
    Being reported as a bank robbery now though.

Being female does not mean one must be stupid and ignorant to facts. I concur with Rob83 – bail now. Having such different philosophical differences will eventually cause you to lose any respect you may now have for the lady. Find yourself a lady who ‘has the motherly nurturing instinct in her DNA’ and a brain in her head.

    This is true.
    However, statistically speaking, finding a female who isn’t determinedly ignorant of the facts and resistant to hearing them is a rare occurrence these days.
    Or a male under 40, for that matter.
    They elected Shiny Pony for God sakes, how much more statistics does one need?
