Bjørn “Skeptical Environmentalist” Lomborg has been doing the math on global warming – and it’s worse than we thought.
Even if every nation in the world adheres to its climate change commitments by 2030 the only difference it will make to “global warming” by the end of this century will be to reduce the world’s temperatures by 0.048°C (0.086°F).
The only numbers that matter to the alarmists are the trillions of dollars of taxpayers’ money that will be transferred to internationalist, government-connected rent seekers.
I like the numbers at Wattsupwiththat.com. Willis calculated out the temperature differential for the “we made a difference!” meeting in Paris, assuming that their base case controls come into being. We all know that the thinner atmosphere as you climb a mountain means it gets colder and colder. The temperature change for the base case is the same as the height of the average man. That’s right, spike the economy now and in a hundred years the air at the elevation of your head will be the same as the current temperature at your feet while you stand.
Another comparison is it’s the same as the temperature change of moving 4 km north. We’re talking life-changing temperature values here, people.
Don’t try to confuse the issue with facts. Facts don’t matter. What matters is government control and the stupidity of people that buy into it.

The AGW fools should be required to provide a graph plotting the “measured” RESULTS of Carbon control… A flat line is not that hard to understand…

if we do nothing and tax no one the temp will fall by 1.3 degrees by 2032. warm is good, cold is bad.

Those who desperately believe with all their hearts that climate change is coming to get us …. live in great fear of the future and rage toward those of us who disagree. So to sum up … they live their lives in a state of rage and fear. I like that about them. I enjoy their pain. And what does that do their quality of life and attitude, ambition … basic love of life. They have already been destroyed by climate change, they just don’t realize it.
What I experience is minor frustration that so many of my fellow citizens are so F**king stupid and gullible.
This is like the health care transfers. We wanted $x but the feds only gave us $y so we’ve been gypped out of $x-y. Similarly we expected the temperature to go up by 20 degrees but it only went up by 0.0005 degrees; so by our valiant efforts and all of your money we saved you from disaster.
