  1. Now a better, faster, cooler iphone is what our best brains are busy working on.
    Sad isn’t it?

  2. Have a look at Formula 1 these days for mind-blowing inventions. They’ve gotten hybrid engines producing 700bhp small enough to sit on an a-4 sheet of paper. And the Le Mans Prototype people are fully in outer space with their technology! I try to read about all the new developments but I’m usually lost after the first sentence. Hardcore boffins…

The traditional history of WWI tends to label the combatants and their generals as being mired in rigid thinking, unwilling or unable to adapt to the realities of trench warfare on the western front. While valid in some instances, a closer examination reveals that they made extraordinary innovations both in materiel and tactics in their attempts to untie the Gordian knot that trench warfare and the machine gun had created. Unfortunately, the eventual breakthroughs, namely massed tank formations, small unit tactics, and creeping barrages coordinated by radio with aerial spotting, came too late for countless millions of men.

They would replace the breaching robots that have a price tag of plus $200,000. You know, the ones that approach the front door and the alleged perp opens the door and kicks it on it’s back.
