  1. Hey, can someone give me some quick rundown of all the evils Harper has supposedly done? I’m getting the emotional, irrational ranting but never any specifics. There’s:
    1) Duffy (of course. Great Big Meh)
    2) The horrific “silencing of the scientists” (which is really just making sure klimate kooks don’t go to the media and whine about the world exploding and Harper not doing anything about it. Oh, and send more money, stat)
    3) Terrible, terrible laws “rammed through” (or attempts to “ram them through”) -?-
    4) Shitty economy
    5) Add your own
    Of course I can’t find much online other than rabid liberal sites flinging poo and gesticulating like chimps, so help me out here, willya?

  3. In virtually every other country this Rob Well fool would be behind bars, or would have “disappeared.” I’m not advocating that; just injecting reality into the narrative.
    Wells spits on the hard fought freedom in this country. If you look more closely at these blowhard Harper haters most of them have some perceived personal axe to grind with Harper. Somebody at DVA said no to them; it’s Harper’s fault. Katherine Wynne imploded the ON economy and someone lost their job; it’s Harper’s fault. Someone didn’t get medical care from provincial bureaucrats; it’s Harper’s fault. “Scientists” aren’t allowed to practice political activism in the workplace; it’s Harper’s fault. The economy suffers a temporary contraction because of world wide economic issues: it’s Harper’s fault.
    Never mind reality. Canada outperforms the G7 through the massive worldwide slowdown; Canada has the best job creation record; the working poor have benefitted from lower income taxes, the UCCB, WITP and Canada Employment Amount, while provinces skim the savings by raising provincial taxes.
    Even though Harper and his government enacted those measures they don’t receive the credit. The progressive never looks at it this way, their opponents can do no good and must be blamed for every negative event though. Non-existent “problems” like climate change and the middle class in crisis are also his fault, which they will fix with the very statist measures that caused the problems.
    Oh, and they’re the “moderate” ones – that’s the “truth.” In fact anything they believe is the truth and anything they don’t is a lie. Whining, envious babies are apparently the real leaders according to these global village idiots.

  6. Rob Well should and will be found guilty. The content of his sign is not terribly important….but the fact that it is designed to distract others and the fact that it obscures his windows REGARDLESS of the message makes him guilty under several sections of various traffic acts.
    He should continue to get tickets whenever he is seen driving his car in a similar condition.

  10. On that theme check out the latest Murry Mandrekk column in the Regina Leader Post. A vote for Harper is ‘the angry old man vote’. By all means vote NDP for a tax increase because then we’ll get even with all those angry old men.

Every bumper sticker, road side billboard, and the chick with her tits hung out, are designed to get out attention. And there are even vehicles with no back window, and only front door windows on the side, so are all these vehicle gonna git ticketed????

I had the displeasure of having to listen to Beavis and Butthead on QR77 defend this a..holes free speech rights, I wondered, if it was their brother, or son or father who was clowning for the foolish left if they would be so defensive of the idiots rights,,I think not, our so called media is the absolute worst on all fronts.

  20. Well I guess you are incapable of looking into the law itself so you obviously need some help.
    Try Alberta Regulation 304/2002 of the Traffic Safety Act.
    “View not to be obstructed
    80 A person shall not drive a vehicle on a highway if
    (a) the view through the windshield or windows of the vehicle is so obscured by mud, frost, steam or any other thing so as to make the driving of the vehicle hazardous or dangerous, or
    (b) an ornament, device or thing is placed in or on the vehicle so that it may obstruct that person’s view.”
    Or how about Section 125 (1) of the Highway Traffic Act which says….
    “125(1) No person, whether as a pedestrian, passenger or driver and whether or not with the use or aid of any animal, vehicle or other thing, shall perform or engage in any stunt or other activity on a highway that is likely to distract, startle or interfere with other users of the highway.”
    This clown violated both of those sections. I’m sure if I did another two minutes of digging, I could find others.
    He will be found guilty. No question. I hope he gets a bunch more tickets.

  21. Harper has been a “moderate” centrist PM who’s irritants to the left are in my opinion are out-weighed by inaction in correcting the status quo towards the “right”. He should have sold off the CBC rather than cut funding by 10%. He should have gotten rid of the federal HRC; downloaded DFO to the provinces, abolished the Indian act, the CHCA, etc….. And then there’s the frustration of seeing him lower himself to offering more shiny objects to LIVs during the campaign.
    He is still, of course, the only one to hold your nose and vote for as all the rest are candidates offering more shiny objects and a quicker form of economic and cultural suicide. Canada’s economy is dependent on the resource sector for 1/3 of its GDP which is primary production making it even more critical and all Parties except the CPC are against the resource sector. You have a situation where Harper is in favour of industrial civilization and the rest are against it. What kind of brain-dead bovine prefers the later. We used to be able to fight and win wars and now we can’t even get permission to build a f…..g pipeline.
    Those critics from the left (Canada’s cultural owners) have been very successful in shifting the so-called centre so far to the left that a centrist like Harper can be branded a radical right winger. As Steyn says, Conservatives are allowed to periodically hold office but never allowed to govern.

  22. I agree that there should be some rules for displays like this one and it can’t be “anything goes”, but my opinion here is “not guilty”. It wasn’t much more than a bumper sticker, and those too can be distracting if you disagree with their message.
