    Trump is decidedly unPC; which is why that kind of talk is refreshing. Talk about refreshing here is Allen West on a ‘tear up the asphalt’ speech and he isn’t even running for president:
    Later in his fiery speech, West accused Obama and other administration officials of “surrendering” to the Republic of Iran.
    “I want President Obama to know one thing,” West said. “You may say that you have done something that no one else has done. You know why no one else has done it? Because it’s a damn stupid thing you just did.”

  6. The Republicans in Congress are scared shitless that they may lose an advantage if they do ANYTHING…The Democrats have them cowered, they gave up the Harry Reid rules in the Senate, which handled control back to Harry… Just gutless, worthless, nonsense, all about winning the Presidency.
    All Political elections were determined by Local issues ( so said Boston Democrat Tip O’Neill , until the social engineers pushed national agendas that separated presidential politics into “HARD” Left & Right issues….
    Trump running as third party splits the clowns into action, or their own defeat in Congress…An independent Presidency is the solution to all the stupid crap that is stalemated in Congress….

  7. Great speech, really put it all together, even with the curious reference to Israel at the end. His best moment:

    He’s right. We should be making treaties with Israel, not Iran.

    This is huge issue that has 3 possible answers
    1. Obama is actually stupid enough to leave them out, and Iran is stupid enough to think it’s not an issue.
    2. They have an agreement, but are holding the news until it helps push Congressional approval
    3. They have an Agreement but the UN will make the announcement taking credit & lifting their legitimacy. (If the Congress does not approve the UN is in the cross hairs)
    Remember UN “Hans Blix” Inspector Crusoe.. Is totally controlled by the Putin empire.

  9. Though not a Trump fan by any means, I’m not in the least bitsurprised that he, like that irrepressible leftie Bernie Sanders for the Democrats, is garnering all the attention.
    The other Oval-Office offerings of the two US parties seem tired, lackluster and shopworn to me (especially Hillary). No surprise that the guys wandering off script get the headlines then.
    There are 320 million of you folks in the good ol’ USA. C’mon, cousins, can’t you come up with a better line up than this?

  10. Maybe, just maybe, people are ready for politicians to stop being tight assed and afraid of offending to the point of not telling us what they really feel on real issues. This PC thing has resulted in giving us politicians who are nothing but phonies, we have no idea of who is the real person behind all the veneer of political correctness. Voters are not looking for a charlatan, they’re looking for a straight shooter, what you see is what you get, take it or leave it. Donald Trump fills that bill, saying things many people feel but dare not speak.

  11. Agreed, Liz. In regards to Kasich refusing to play hardball with Hillary, he has forgotten what conservatives (if he is one) are up against. Conservatives HAVE to be blunt, and call out their leftie opponents on the facts, even at the risk of being labelled “nasty” or mean spirited. The point is, the media will not hold lefties accountable for anything – no matter how vile, dishonest, or hypocritical it may be. On the other hand, the Media Party will go through the past of any conservative with a fine toothed comb, looking for anything – DUI charges from 30 years ago, a church blog post years before an election, a disgruntled employee with a history of making accusations – to try to dig up something to use in a smear campaign. Lefties can pretend to take the high road, because the media does their dirty work for them. The media blitzkrieg on Palin was in full swing before her first speech as a VP candidate was over. Witness all the fuss about the earnings of various GOP potentials, with no similar digging into Hillary’s finances, or BHO`s financial backers. Conservatives need to sling the truth, because the media is going to sling all kinds of mud at them, while letting the liberals go scot-free. So be blunt and truthful about Hillary – her minions in the media will have no manners or ethics with you. What was that “Lord of the Rings” quote – “Show no mercy, as none will be shown to you”? Something like that.

    I think people want conservative politicians to wake up to the fact that they are making all the compromises and that the Left never compromises with conservatives.
    (if Obama had negotiated with Iran the way he negotiates with the GOP or the Catholic Church well…just don’t call his bluff)
    In short, the Left has no good faith in negotiations, ever.
    It’s a one-way ratchet to the Left that only used to nibble at the edges but is now taking great chomping BITES out of our cultural traditions, heritage, and our security as a nation and as individuals.
    As I use the internet(Fox News is my Home site) I keep getting Union ads that accuse the Harper regime of ‘bleeding the Canadian civil service’.
    YAY!!! for Harper and the CPC. Such a great endorsement from the Public Sector Unions and on their dime too.(if you ignore that their dime came from us)
    The thing that irks me though, the thing that chaps my hide, is that the Public Unions can get away with being political actors this way and conservative politicians never point out that this is being done with Your Taxes.
    The media and the unions, separately and often in collusion, work politically to beat down conservative interests and in so doing take some of the political flack off of Leftist politicians, and all the while the media and unions are de facto unelected political operators.
    The CBC, PBS, and every Public Union should be forced to provide equal balance or be cut off from tax money in any form or disbanded as a consequence.
