Society vs. The Individual Series

Part 1

But as “masterful, elaborate and purposefully designed” it is, this brainwashing is above all else thorough and incredibly effective. If I were to estimate it right now, nearly 95% of westerners are brainwashed and believe in what are nothing more than outright lies. And not only do they believe in these lies, the brainwashing is so effective they have an emotional investment in these lies so that if any of you were to dare question the veracity of those lies, most people would react violently, at minimum, angrily. However, no matter how emotionally vested these people are in these lies, it doesn’t change the fact they live their lives and base INCREDIBLY important life decisions on these lies which results in the aforementioned true price they pay – sanity.

Part 2

In order to live your life for yourself and not society, you need to have the balls and the courage to dare to think that you on your little lonesome may be right, while the rest of society is wrong. It goes against, “conventional wisdom.” It’s the epitome of hubris and arrogance. But it is the only logical conclusion you’re left with when you’ve “done what society told you” and have nothing to show for it.

  1. Where it really gets funky Captain C is when you realize that even the history is BS, the financial system is and always has been a Ponzi scheme, the medical system is run by guys who kill and maim for cash, the legal system is gamed, our political choices are all composed of a combination of boot lickers and deviants who buy into, or use the extant social lies for political gain, science is a bordello run by Wall St. pimps and what you thought was salvation is only one more marketing scam, writ large in the lies of statistical theory and “what will play in Peoria”.
I recently read a great book “National Security and Double Government” by a CFR member and political insider. His idea for restoration of your once semi-great country is the restoration of “civic virtue”.
But don’t worry our Fabian friends have poisoned that well as well…
I looked to the CPC up here to bring back some semblance of decency to Canada, instead we got ideological thugs and knuckle draggers whose only redeeming virtue is they are less utterly appalling than choices “b” or “c”.
All that said, bucky-up my disillusioned friend. Hot days still go well with cold beer, children still really are adorable (until they’re YOUR teenagers)and there still is meaning and purpose in living a good life based on honor and trust. It may be old fashioned to deliver value but it is still what it’s all about.
PS no matter what, my dogs still love me and the cat will trade affection for food!

  2. Mandatory reading for every 14 yr old male in the world, especially if they are Black well done

  3. Heh, he’s going to be real surprised when his ‘one shot at life and consciousness’, wasn’t…but then, he’s not the only one.
He’s been caught where it counts…and surprise, surprise, it was society’s lies that led him there. High falutin’ ‘thinkers’, and the like.

  4. The individual needs two things to escape the pillage of the mob A) resolve to live free and independent of their soul sucking obligatory claims and B) enough force to get your point across 😉
A very lucid piece Cappy, parts of it could have been penned by my own thinking.

  5. I find it extremely vexing when others are so blind and don’t see things as clearly as I do! What’s wrong with people!? :D(

  6. Sorry strad, I hate to be the one to have to tell you this, but dead people don’t experience surprise. Just like you’ll be too dead to be disappointed you’re still dead.
As per the Captains writings, a good job at articulating his views of a hugely deep and complicated topic. As usual.

  7. Sorry strad, I hate to be the one to have to tell you this, but dead people don’t experience surprise. Just like you’ll be too dead to be disappointed you’re still dead.
So, did you come up with that all on your own, or did someone tell you that? 🙂
The best lie is 99% truth…

  8. Great articles.
” In order to live your life for yourself and not society, you need to have the balls and the courage to dare to think that you on your little lonesome may be right, while the rest of society is wrong. ”
But even if you are wrong, it doesn’t matter because you are smiling all the way through it.

  9. Much of what is being trashed is conventional wisdom. Most people are not smart enough to take full control of all of their decisions. People have, over the generations worked out a lot of life strategies which work in the best interests of those involved. Marriage, children, planning for the future and treating your neighbours well are a few of these. Throwing out these norms in the assumption that you know better is, in fact usually arrogance since most folks do not have the life experience to know what will be right for them in the future.
As anyone over the age of 50 can testify, people change and so do their attitudes and desires. Moreover, an individual, no matter how intelligent has very limited life experience. That’s not to say that there isn’t a lot of bullshit out there painted up like conventional wisdom, but it isn’t all bullshit. Be aware that almost everything you hear in the various mass media is intended to sell you something and you will be alright.

  10. One of the best pearls of wisdom I have ever heard is that NO HUMAN has the answers to the big questions of life/death so any man who claims to know for sure these answers is delusional, a liar, or both.
I find ESPECIALLY if he’s wearing robes. 🙂
We DEMAND proof of man-made global warming, how is it not reasonable to ask for some proof from those out actively trying to recruit people to believe their narrow view of the world? Sh#t, I think it is our duty to question these often outrageous claims. Which leads me to a question I have for a certain Baptist family. If God hates fags so much, how come he keeps making so damn many of them?
My apologies to all for wandering so far off the thread’s topic. Have a good night, strad.

  11. I think I’d rather go with the wisdom of the guy who said this:
“So, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on bedrock. The rain fell, the rivers flooded, the winds blew and beat against that house, but it didn’t collapse, because its foundation was on rock.
But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand. The rain fell, the rivers flooded, the wind blew and beat against that house, and it collapsed — and its collapse was horrendous!”
    — Matthew 7 (CJB)

  12. “If God hates fags so much, how come he keeps making so damn many of them?”
For precisely the same reason he made you. In other words, you wave your fist at him, call him irrelevant, or just turn your back to him, calling him “not good enough”. Why would he have made YOU if you do so?
Oh, and it’s utterly wrong to say that “God hates fags” and you know that. He hates any of our BEHAVIOUR in which we ourselves cause our own suffering and pain, and not just physical pain, but emotional and societal pain as well.
Since he created us, he wants us to prosper, not suffer and die, but we have this propensity to behave in such a way that we cause our own suffering and even death.
That’s why Jesus suffered and died for each one of us, including you, so that you might have life.

  13. …how is it not reasonable to ask for some proof from those out actively trying to recruit people to believe their narrow view of the world?
Oh, don’t get me wrong, I would never try and recruit you. In fact, it’s written that some people are blinded to the truth for their own protection, since they are too weak to handle it.
    John 12:40, and other places.

  14. If God hates fags so much, how come he keeps making so damn many of them?
I guess the same reason He makes people who think they’re Napoleon…although, not likely he made them think they’re Napoleon.
I suppose no different than people who think they descend from creatures who evolved from green slime. Different levels of nuts…

  15. I think it was Patton who said something like, “If everyone is thinking the same, then no one’s thinking.”

  16. I have been of the belief that most of society has been wrong all my life.

  17. strad, again sorry to have to tell you this but there is plenty of evidence out there suggesting life from “green slime”. Your theory belongs in the mythology section next to the Greek and Roman classics. I remind you the bible was assembled by people soooo ignorant to the ways of the world they would have been thunderstruck at the sight of a wheelbarrow. Tell me strad, have you heard of microbiology yet or do you still believe illness is the work of demons?
If god isn’t making gays, then who is? Are you telling me that sometimes Mr. Owl or Mr. Dog or Mr. Giraffe makes a conscious decision to go gay too? Homosexuality is throughout most species on this planet, homo sapien is no different. It’s hilarious that you believe god created absolutely everything we see, except those things stradivarious doesn’t like.
Enjoy your faith, strad and I thank you enthusiastically for not trying to recruit more victims.

  18. If you want to compare yourself to the animals, it’s fine by me. 🙂
Apparently animals asserting dominance equates to people thinking they’re Napoleon, in your world.
Btw, why did evolution stop? Why aren’t there a whole line of living creatures right from the green slime to modern creatures, continuously evolving?

  19. “… recruit more victims.”
    Did Jesus ever try to recruit “victims”? Perhaps he was when he said this;
28 “Come to me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
    — Matthew 11 (CJB)
From what you say, I’d better avoid Jesus at all costs! Whew, good thing you warned me ahead of time!

  20. “…any man who claims to know for sure these answers is delusional, a liar, or both.”
I presume you would say the same about Jesus because he said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
    He also said this:
24 “So, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on bedrock. 25 The rain fell, the rivers flooded, the winds blew and beat against that house, but it didn’t collapse, because its foundation was on rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a stupid man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain fell, the rivers flooded, the wind blew and beat against that house, and it collapsed — and its collapse was horrendous!”
    — Matthew 7 (CJB)
The guy must have been “both” delusional and a liar.
    No question, right? Right?
