  8. PeterJ, Canadian Care vs USA Medicare
    Today I had my first appointment with a Top Specialist (no Referral- 3 weeks to walk-in), blood worK done, Cat scan Friday, and then back to specialist for his workup. I expect to have a reasonable diagnosis in ~2 weeks, with a treatment plan, which I can have done here in AZ, or back in Canada.
    The problem in Saskatchewan is the time it takes to get a referral to a specialist (Waiting List) and then the testing all takes time before you have any idea what may be wrong. The primary care is reasonable, but waiting lists even there..
    I don’t think there is a problem getting competent treatment in Canada, but it helps to know what that is ASAP… and that part is missing.

  12. Not a reader tip, but starting at 14 seconds in on Tyler Farr’s song, I know he is singing “I’m gonna drive like hell through your neighborhood” but his accent makes me hear “I’m gonna drive (my cattle) through your neighborhood.” I picture him chasing a herd of longhorns past her place.
    Now THAT would have been “redneck crazy”!

    Well no. Rich people tend to stay rich. poor people tend not to stay poor. All income levels are better off, and that is accelerating, not diminishing. Despite the progressives’ arrogance of using their big brains to solve “problems,” time and time again – often with lethal effect – it’s been shown we can’t make the rich less rich without making the poor poorer. We need more politicians with the steel of Margaret Thatcher to reinforce that reality; to expose the real objectives of the welfare state: Bigger, and inevitably, badder government.
