Today I had my first appointment with a Top Specialist (no Referral- 3 weeks to walk-in), blood worK done, Cat scan Friday, and then back to specialist for his workup. I expect to have a reasonable diagnosis in ~2 weeks, with a treatment plan, which I can have done here in AZ, or back in Canada.
The problem in Saskatchewan is the time it takes to get a referral to a specialist (Waiting List) and then the testing all takes time before you have any idea what may be wrong. The primary care is reasonable, but waiting lists even there..
I don’t think there is a problem getting competent treatment in Canada, but it helps to know what that is ASAP… and that part is missing.

“Two Liberal MPs accused of sexual harassment to get permanent boot”
“OTTAWA – Two Liberal MPs accused of sexual misconduct toward two female NDP colleagues are expected to be told today that they’re being permanently booted from the Grit fold.
Liberal insiders say the fate of Montreal MP Massimo Pacetti and Newfoundland MP Scott Andrews has been decided by Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau after receiving the results of an independent investigation he ordered into complaints levelled against them.
Toronto lawyer Cynthia Petersen, a human rights specialist who has investigated sexual harassment complaints in the private sector, handed Trudeau her report on Pacetti and Andrews last week.” http://www.newsoptimist.ca/news/two-liberal-mps-accused-of-sexual-harassment-to-get-permanent-boot-1.1796061
Not a reader tip, but starting at 14 seconds in on Tyler Farr’s song, I know he is singing “I’m gonna drive like hell through your neighborhood” but his accent makes me hear “I’m gonna drive (my cattle) through your neighborhood.” I picture him chasing a herd of longhorns past her place.
Now THAT would have been “redneck crazy”!

“Kathleen Wynne to meet OPP by end of April in bribery investigation”
“Wynne, Sorbara, and Thibeault — each of whom has retained their own counsel — will be interviewed separately by detectives before the end of next month.
Insiders say the questioning will be done in neutral sites — likely lawyers’ offices — and, in the premier’s case, half a day has been set aside.
Wynne will let people know when she has been interviewed immediately after the fact.
The premier hopes to avoid any media circus surrounding her conversation with police.
It is not yet known when Lougheed will be questioned by the OPP. He also has his own lawyer.” http://www.thestar.com/news/queenspark/2015/03/17/kathleen-wynne-to-meet-opp-by-end-of-april-in-bribery-investigation.html

“Prisoner’s Dilemma
Tanya and Cinque have been arrested for robbing the Hibernia Savings Bank and placed in separate isolation cells. Both care much more about their personal freedom than about the welfare of their accomplice.
A clever prosecutor makes the following offer to each. “You may choose to confess or remain silent. If you confess and your accomplice remains silent I will drop all charges against you and use your testimony to ensure that your accomplice does serious time. Likewise, if your accomplice confesses while you remain silent, they will go free while you do the time.
If you both confess I get two convictions, but I’ll see to it that you both get early parole. If you both remain silent, I’ll have to settle for token sentences on firearms possession charges. If you wish to confess, you must leave a note with the jailer before my return tomorrow morning.”
The “dilemma” faced by the prisoners here is that, whatever the other does, each is better off confessing than remaining silent.” http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/prisoner-dilemma/

(Monday) “The three-term prime minister warned in an interview that if Israel were to withdraw from the occupied West Bank to allow a Palestinian state it would give Islamic extremists a staging area for attacks on Israel… Tuesday’s election caps an acrimonious three-month campaign that (was) widely seen as a referendum on Netanyahu.
“Netanyahu said that turning over captured territory to the Palestinians would clear the way for Islamic extremists to take control and attack Israel. ‘Whoever ignores that is burying his head in the sand. The left is doing that, burying its head in the sand time after time,’ he said in the video interview… When asked if that means a Palestinian state will not be established if he is elected, Netanyahu replied, ‘Indeed.’

If this were actually true, then yeah, we’d have a big problem:
“Growing income gap poses a health risk to all.”
Well no. Rich people tend to stay rich. poor people tend not to stay poor. All income levels are better off, and that is accelerating, not diminishing. Despite the progressives’ arrogance of using their big brains to solve “problems,” time and time again – often with lethal effect – it’s been shown we can’t make the rich less rich without making the poor poorer. We need more politicians with the steel of Margaret Thatcher to reinforce that reality; to expose the real objectives of the welfare state: Bigger, and inevitably, badder government. http://www.nationalnewswatch.com/2015/03/18/growing-income-gap-poses-a-health-risk-to-all/#.VQnOCId0yM8
