  1. I was amazed to find this story in the ”political” section of CBC.Ca. I would have imagined that the story would have been listed under ”heroes.” Sadly, the CBC only recognizes the scum of society. Just look at the comments section and ask yourself if it was necessary for Andrew Doiron to die in the line of duty while trying to protect the idiots who post such idiotic statements. I feel for his family.

  2. Had one of those odd revelations reading through some of the commentary on Justin Trudeau’s recent gaffe.
I realized you could put any of his speeches could be the lyrics for any song written by the Smiths….and just as depressing too.

  3. Forgot to mention that there is a place to make comments (for now) at that link.
    Not that I’m suggesting anything.

  4. Izat really Smokey? Sounds like an awesome remake… too clear, or has it been remastered? Haven’t heard this before.

    Trudeau needs a broken Canada:
“The progressive agenda is a victim of its own success. So Trudeau needs to make Canada look broken so he can get the photo ops for fixing it. Looking for any cheap excuse to call a conservative racist or intolerant is the oldest trick in the book. One the Liberals appear ready to exploit.”
Yeah, good luck with that. I doubt Muslims even care about the niqab issue. I agree with others he is trying to pull of an Obama. There are many problems with that: the Obama effect is spent; even so, Trudeau’s no Obama; and, Harper’s no Romney.
Plus the Clintons are really busy right now.

“OPP Association Launches Election Ad Campaign”
    “BARRIE, ON, June 2, 2014”
“For the first time in its history, the Ontario Provincial Police Association (OPPA) launched two-fifteen second ads this morning in connection with the upcoming Provincial Election. Both ads end with a simple message – We’re here for you. Who’s Tim Hudak here for?
“For the first time in the sixty year history of the OPPA, Tim Hudak has given us no choice but to engage in a publicity campaign during an election”, said Jim Christie, President, OPPA.”

“Surprise: U.S. Economic Data Have Been the World’s Most Disappointing
Is this a sign of unanticipated weakness in the economy?”
“It’s not only the just-released University of Michigan consumer confidence report and February retail sales on Thursday that surprised economists and investors with another dose of underwhelming news. Overall, U.S. economic data have been falling short of prognosticators’ expectations by the most in six years.
The Bloomberg ECO U.S. Surprise Index, which measures whether data beat or miss forecasts, fell to the lowest since 2009, when the nation was in the deepest recession since the Great Depression.”
