  1. From their point of view, all Christians on earth, including secular Christians, are “crusaders” fit only for slaughter.
    What in hell is a ‘secular’ Christian? You’re either Christian, or you aren’t. There’s no such thing as a hyphenated Christian.
    That being said, where is the universal condemnation from muslims around the world? There’s supposed to be 2 billion of them, you’d think we’d hear something from the religion of peace.

    Their religion doesn’t permit them to criticise other Muslims to infidels nor does it allow them to make alliances with infidels against Muslims.
    That’s actually one of the doctrinal talking points that IS makes to the faithful, and IS’s atrocities make a good motivation for not being seen as unfaithful.
    That was also one of Osama bin Laden’s taking points regarding the actions of Saudi Arabia in allowing the U.S infidels to stage operations in KSA against Saddam Hussein during the Gulf War/Desert Storm.

    Not only that, but the Egyptian Christian community – like every other Middle Eastern Christian community – predates Islam by over 500 years.

  12. Maybe they’re both brutes but Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is taller.
    Let’s face facts. It takes a strongman to keep the various Muslim factions that live in that part of the world in check.
    Hosni Mubarak was no squish, he was a brute too.
    The ruler of Egypt has to be brutal. The question is, should he be brutal toward the extremists or the non-extremists.
    Bear in mind it takes more effort and brutality to keep the extremists in line, but then they can have a tourist economy in Egypt again if he’s brutal toward the extremists so there is more reward there too.

  13. The Persian’s, Babylonians, and Berbers were always brutal. Islam just didn’t happen to change +5000 years of culture.
    Neither will a group of tree huggings with big ideas and a personal sense of whats right or wrong.
