1. Refreshing to say the least – it is far past time government representatives spoke bluntly to the devolution of governing/justice/civil liberty which leftist rot has left our legislating institutions in.
   It’s also a wake up call for voters who think you will get change from name brand party CINOs and LINOs – a true libertarian government is the only thing that will save us from the collusive corruption of a multi party system which is just varying degrees of the same statist control freak socialism.

2. On a (slightly) related note, did anyone else notice the commie’s atrocious grammar?
   Honestly, I am so sick of people using apostrophes to pluralize words. I’d learned better than that by the time I was seven. SEVEN.
   I know, I know. Nit-picking. But if it’s any indication of the man’s education…

3. Supplimental on that last rant – as displayed by this Aussi Senator, it is obvious that Libertarian ideals represent the very best motives of both modern conservatism and classic Liberalism – the type our nation’s foundation documents expressed in rule of law.
   Since the rot of mega government set in, all parties must of necessity stray from these founding principles to feed the klepto welfare state (as opposed to willing commonwealth confederation) and enforce the acts of centralized government which nullify provincial jurisdiction, private property and individual determination. In effect, large welfare statism is immoral – it lies, cheats, steals, centrlly concentrates power while disempowering the individual and oppresses – in the name of “the greater good”. The Canadian party system is built upon this perverted premise.
   Libertarianism holds that any crime committed against the individual (using force to make us do what we do not want to or which represents personal loss) perpetrated in the name of the collective state is just that – a crime. Socialism has made government into a criminal enterprise which excuses its criminality/immorality as “for the greater good”.
   That simple single principle of morality is at odds with everything modern leftist politicians/legislators hold to be their function. There is a reason the left fears and loaths libertarian movements and politician – it’s because these are people who have figured out how parties branding themselves left and right have lied to them and strayed from principle to become statist authoritarians first and pay lip service to their political ideals.

   Yup – and did you notice the genetic leftist trait of claiming the high moral ground by engaging in slander (a crime) and attempting to use the hammer of the state to smite those who dissent. THIS is what Leftists mean when they rail against free speech – they don’t want to be shut up as they slander and smear , they just want their opposition silenced.
   Sick – criminal really.

6. This is exactly how the Left needs to be confronted: aggressively and unapologetically. For too long conservatives have operated under the “don’t descend to their level” argument, or allowed their veneration of institutions to temper their response to decades of constant agitprop from the Left.
   Those are laudable inclinations, but it’s time to face the reality that the cultural battle space has been on the Left’s terms for multiple generations now. When one side (the Left) are allowed to sling the most outrageous slander at conservatives for decades, without a counter assault of equal intensity, then casual political observers tend to internalize the accusations of the Left.
   When dealing with Leftists, there is no collegiality or comity, though they will certainly make appeals to such as a means of muzzling conservatives. They are unrepentant scumbags and should be identified as such at every opportunity.

    But that’s the rub. The “progressives” use the “law” to advance their agenda and use our respect for it against us. With the state being the creator and enforcer, with a compliant media that pushes public opinion against an individual that acts against the status quo, the “rule of law” has become nothing more than a tyrant with many faces.
