It’s tough at the top ! Two reasons for lack of back-scratching:
1) Redundant
Most of their visitors have already been to SDA first and read it there.
2) Fear
For the few that don’t, if you send them to SDA they may never come back.
Always my favourite site. My only regret is ET not posting anymore possibly because of personal attacks by a few posters. Make lots of requests to friend to visit your site for its great topics.

And cellphone $40 and tv $60 for cloth and shoe$200 second hand and cigar or marjina buying per month min $400 per month and medical drug plan is free and buying home equpment matress $200 second hand total: $2500 per person but not include children is poor can not live in toronto except food bank ttc bank cigar bank and rent bank etc built in city or movve them out of toronto or pay minimum wag toclass labor can afford live in Toronto bye.
Poverty is a terrible thing, MOVE OUT OF Toronto. Canada is a BIG country.

A day without SDA is a day without common sense, hope and sanity.
This is going to sound repetitive, but, this is the only site, for the past 10 years, that I have stuck with to visit daily. Sometimes its a 5 minute scan, other days, I just can’t stay away, for the topic du jour.
I’ve also found during this time, that my tolerance for BS from the MSM, both web and TV based, has dropped to low levels. Thank goodness. Anyone with half a brain now sees thru the tripe they pass off as ‘informed’ and ‘in-depth’. SDA and all fellow contributors, have added sanity to an insane world, full of LIV mindsets, and ideological fools. There are too many in this world who have given up critical thinking, in favour of leaving it to Dr Mengele Suzuki and his ilk, to benefit, by deceit, their own narrow agendas.
Common sense is in short supply, but is plentiful here at SDA!

Your posts, otoh, steeped in actual experience in Middle East countries, contained no such idealism. I don’t have your experience but I have good eyes and ears and a bias toward nose-on-my-face reality.

Good heavens – I make one of my very rare visits here – and you are talking about ME? Why?
MND and Knight 99 and etc; I repeat myself because empirical and objective analysis leads to the same conclusions. And I don’t deal with the I-P conflict which has zilch to do with the Middle East upheaveal. Don’t confuse the two- as you do.
My comments are about the transformation of the ME; of a tribal, non-industrial economic mode to a modern mode. What is a modern mode? One that can support populations in the multi-millions. And the only economic mode that can do that – is an industrial production method operating within a dominant middle class.
It’s not about ‘end of history’ – for there is no such thing. It’s all about population size and the economic mode to sustain that population – both variables which you, MND and others, ignore. The problems in the ME began 100 years ago, when the population began to increase exponentially but the economic mode remained in the old local agriculturalism. Impossible to sustain that population. Sure, you can sell the oil (developed by the West since the agricultural mode didn’t develop industrial technology) But that’s not merely finite but a redistribution economy won’t work in multimillion populations who are deprived of political power.
It’s not about ‘ideology’. Ideologies are beliefs that support a particular lifestyle (aka economic mode); they are mental perspectives and they fit, like a lock, into an economic mode. Change the economic mode and the ideology must change.
What’s going on in the ME now IS an ‘Arab Spring’ if one wants to attach such a trivial term to something that the West went through from the 13th through 17th centuries – four hundred bloody years. And you seem to think that the ME change ought to be mechanical? Flip a switch? Do you seriously think that centuries of mindset beliefs can be flung out of a population like an old car?
What’s going on now is a battle for power, from the Old Way (tribalism and agriculturalism) to the New Way. There is only one possible outcome. One. The New Way. That’s because the Old Way can’t support.the.population.
