Democrats’ CIA gambit backfires. That story — condemn first and don’t ask questions because you might get an answer you don’t like — has resonated. All of this has cast the Democratic Party once again as the party that’s weak on (and unserious about) defense.

The release time was to distract from the GRUBER problem….but just piled on public resentment….
The donkeys seem surprised that the expected outrage was not at the CIA but at the Demoncraps…..
Most folks refuse the premise that enhanced “interrogation” (a term intended to avoid the term torture) is ineffective….most figure if that is the case you ain’t doin’ it right.
That and the simple fact that the subjects are not…sympathetic characters…
There was a report just last week that something like 80% of the American public expect an ISIS attack in the US any time now. They are not going to worry over-much about the delicate feelings of terrorists under those circumstances.
The “Democratic” party is weak on EVERYTHING. With the notable exception of regulating their country into oblivion….because they “know better”, you understand.
And Oboehner gives them the money to do it with.
As far as I can tell, the choices are: Enhanced Interrogation OR Torture.
And yes, it seems the Americans are seeing through the Democrat facade on all levels: fake torture, fake rapes, fake racism, fake, fake, fake.

Or in other words, after all this time, what difference does it make? Yah sure. Every tough issue that comes up, might make her and Obama’s administration look bad she puts on Bilbo’s ring of invisibility. But honey, if you wanna be Sauron you’ve got to face the tough issues. The Democrat orcs need leadership, or at least what passes for it in the Clinton household.
That’s the whole intention of the CIA.
Make the oppositions moves backfire.
Right now, today, we are being treated to the spectacle of a United States government happily allowing people into the country that they KNOW have been exposed to Ebola. And they also let them fly on domestic flights. No quarantine, no nothing.
That is being done because it is politically expedient for the DemocRats. Short term expedience at that. The administration knows the danger. They just don’t care. Its not -important-.
Once upon a time there was another DemocRat president who didn’t care much about the danger of his actions. His name was John F. Kennedy. He and his band of merry men created the Cuban Missile Crisis as an election gimmick. Came within minutes of ending Western Civilization in a nuclear exchange… over polling.
I don’t think “unserious” even begins to cover it.
I recall reading that the CIA was considered more anti-Obama while the FBI was considered more pro-Obama. Is this attack on the CIA’s actions a coincidence?
Many of the revelations are disturbing, and frankly describe practices that countries based on the rule of law should not engage in. But the other side are barbarians, and quite willing to engage in similar practices themselves (as ISIS demonstrates daily), so one can feel decidedly less sympathy for those subjected to them. It’s like when communists criticize occasional errors or excesses by authorities in the West — they’re guilty of much worse, but they try to sweep that under the rug.
Notwithstanding the propaganda of “multiculturalism”, cultures subject to the rule of law are superior to those that are not. We should be doing a lot more to export our own culture to the barbarians. And we should be doing a lot better respecting it at home.
Oh the irony.
The people who brought America Obama Care are “concerned” that the CIA mislead.
Democrats are just more proof liberalism is a progressive disease.
These politicians who rammed the Obamanation down taxpayer throats, have not obeyed the constitution, they are oathsworn to uphold, for years, have sold taxpayer grandchildren into bondage via their debt spending delusions.
Well they may be right, maybe the spooks lied to them,traitors one and all, but they are hardly in any position to even fake outrage over government departments lying to the citizens.
As a side note I would support the CIA lying to a congress of these cretins, Guam tipped over yet?
