Monitored, not have it, monitored. Not quarantined. Imagine the cost of monitoring 1,400 compared to quarantined. Imagine the potential for spreading. 44 states
“1,400 people in 44 states in the U.S. are being actively monitored by state and local health departments after returning from West Africa.” I wonder how many are in the food service industry or hairdressing or the finger nail salons or work in schools/cafeterias or work out in gyms etc.
Now we have an inkling of how America is going to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Once the crematoriums run out of customers, there won’t be anyone around to generate anything at all.

I guess maybe all those “nutcases” in the “right wing” news like Glenn Beck and Alex Jones are looking less nutty today, when their raging on about Ebola patients “vanishing” out of hospitals all over the USA this year has proven correct.
This is what a politician “rolling the dice” looks like. A whole nation avoiding catastrophe by sheer inertia and dumb luck.
