    The CBC headline reads: ”ISIS dump truck may have been target of first Canadian air strikes in Iraq.”
    Notice that the headline suggest that our CF-18s were sent out to target one single dump truck.
    This what the National Post reported on November 3, 2014 6:17 PM ET within minutes of the original CBC story.

    Is it coincidence that the CBC did not allow commenting on this story??

    I used the cbc search engine and put in justin Trudeau and Stephen Harper ,,article count is 11900 to 1240
    Liberal to conservative. I also tried just Trudeau and just Harper , was even a bigger spread. If I cared I would try mulcair. But I don’t. He can whine by himself

    I read you! Life (however) in Iraq has little value. Logistically speaking, replacing five bulldozers is a humongous task! A good used D-9 Cat (2009) with blade and ripper and with 5000 hrs sells for over $450,000 US. Plus you have to get it there. Meanwhile–they have to dig by hand!!

    Our betters have decided that we do not need to know about Ebola scares. They will only report Ebola cases if they are confirmed as Ebola cases. So you will find out that the guy that vomited blood on you was positive about 48-72 hours AFTER he did it. And about 0-120 hours before you become sick from Ebola.

    I agree, Bulldozers and Engineering vehicles are worth more than tanks in the Mideast. But who owns and operates the things? Were they ISIS or was it poor Achmed, the local excavating company owner trying to survive? “Achmed, build us a berm here or we cut your daughter’s head off!”

  18. We need to bulldoze the CBC, let those employed there get out in the real world and earn an honest living, where truth and facts are basic requirements. There should be no state owned broadcasting corporation in this democracy, least of all one which continually presents a political agenda across the board.

    Dear Prime Minister – In your speech the other day you stated that we will not be intimidated by cowardly acts committed by terrorists. Now the Minister of National Defence ( or someone) has ordered that military personnel shall hide themselves from public view. What a snivelling response! What message does this convey to actual Islamist fighters or to the somewhat deranged who might care to immitate them?
    Mr Prime Minister, please review this cowardly response,probably made by ‘bureaucrats in uniform’ at NDHQ. This action has the potential to cause additional attacks! Remember the ‘strong horse, weak horse’ analogy.
