    In short, the way to end Ebola is not by coming up with a vaccine. The way to end Ebola is to stop encroaching on chimpanzee habitat.

    The top story on the CBC’s’CANADA’ page is about a facebook posting by a young Islamic man.
    ” He insists people shouldn’t make a connection between terrorism and Islam.”
    I can overlook the kid’s posting, but for the CBC to make this their leading story is appalling.
    They are spitting on our soldier’s graves.

  8. It never fails to amaze me the lack of expertise the so called experts on the American news networks actually have. Because of the home grown terrorist activity north of their border I have heard several talking heads talking about securing the northern border. What part of home grown do they not understand? There is a reason why there are ten times less border agents along the Canadian border: Not many Canadian families wade across the St Lawrence to sneak into the US. You will find us patiently waiting at the border crossing with their American money and coupons in hand, ready to hit the nearest mall.
    The experts sound more like the CBC gaggle.

    A lot of the readers were angered by the fact that the Harper administration is looking at reviewing hate speech laws that would prevent potential and home grown terrorists from making derogatory comments against Canada. I was always under the impression that such legislation was already in force and dating back to the Trudeau administration. But then that’s the CBC, and not the real world.

    The CBC and I have a history.
    I’m very aware that they will delete comments or hold them forever if they don’t meet their journalistic “standards”.
    The corporation ‘circle the wagons’ to defend their paycheques and their view of Canada.
    It is wrong. I know it,you know it, pretty well everyone here knows it. This site along with a few other, and Sun News, is making a difference. It is a slow process, but it is necessary.

(Also, someone named “Kaci” is probably mental. Her parents obviously were, and these things tend to be genetic. I mean, how are you supposed to pronounce it? “Khaki”? “Kay-cee”? “Kassee”? “Ka-see“? These people’s first impulse on spawning was to make life difficult for as many people on the planet as possible by failing to give their daughter’s [stupid made-up] name an intelligible spelling. And you just know she’d be really indignant if you pronounced it wrong. Anyway…)

  15. Our Western feminists are silent on the abuse of women under sharia right here in Canada. When women are covered from head to toe in burkas in our streets, that is sharia and it is abuse, it should not be allowed in this or any western country. Women forced to be tented are forced to shun our society, we cannot communicate with someone whose face we cannot see.
