Then it follows, why are Islamists/Muslims not fighting against them using their name to terrorize and perform atrocities like beheading people in their name? Makes no damned sense, right up there with intoning “Allahu Akbar” over and over and over and declaring you are not an Islamist.

    Use of “Daesh” is purely obfuscatory. Similar to using “NSDAP” when not in the company of historians.
    The ISIS documentary of about 6 weeks ago used verses from the Qu’ran and the Hadith to justify
    all of their actions.
    John Kerry knows no more about Islam than he knows about Christianity, or the environment.
    I read somewhere that the US is currently mounting about 4 strikes a day against ISIS. In contrast,
    when the Wehrmacht invaded France in 1940 the Luftwaffe flew about 400 missions a day,
    and the British and French about 250. So not much will be done until January 2017. ISIS should control
    a lot of territory, and oil fields, by then.
    Anyone want to take bets on how long it will take them to reach NYC?

    If you mean as far as terrorist activity, who’s to say they aren’t conducting all sorts of nasty little guerrilla tactics under the radar as we write?
