  1. For Obama to show proper respect, the Marines would have to be Muslim. That he is actually commander in chief is the joke of the century and it shows with every decision he has made in 6 years.

  2. U.S. Armed Forces are taught from day one, that what they salute is the rank, the uniform, not the person.
    Those who serve currently, have to keep repeating this to themselves without end.

  5. Besides displaying abject disrespect for very souls of those who protect his sorry ass, Obama’s slacker/cavalier “salute” is symptomatic of his approach to all presidential duties.
    “W” was no George Washington, but he and his family did respect those in uniform and Secret Service personnel.

IIRC when Bill Clinton would give sloppy salutes, his critics would point out that he was not required to give a salute and that if he chose to give one, he really should make an effort to do so properly. The conspiracists insisted that Clinton’s sloppy salutes were not so much laziness or unfamiliarity with proper military protocol and decorum, but were part of a broader effort to be deliberately disrespectful towards the U.S. military.
    People are making too much of Obama’s gesture. I think he was just politely covering a sneeze.

    Obutthole weeps and yearns for sons that he never had – the kind that shoplift nickel and dime stores and deal drugs.
    The son I wish I had would be much like those Marines right there: strong, dedicated patriots that are so full of confidence and nobility – that they can even lend some respectability and dignity to an otherwise contemptible token negro race wh*re. Semper Fi boys!

    Whenever you see PM Harper disembarking from the aircraft he does give a proper acknowledgement to his military escorts.
