  2. Maybe the aims of the west is not peace in the Mid east but constant war leading to Balkanization, depredation and eventual subjugation to western finance. That would explain what appears to be purely insane foreign policy.
    It is becoming more apparent that 3-4 decades of intense government/corporate corruption have left the west economically compromised/vulnerable (deep unmanageable debt, low productivity and dwindling tactile assets and excessive costs of government – all that is left to plunge into a long term dire austerity is a wider public knowledge of the depth of banking/economic crimes and how worthless these corrupt government currencies are).
    The west (particularly the EU) are desperate to find anything they can rob, steal or plunder because their traditional wealth-creation engines are gone, and the last remaining liquid nations are the petro nations being ravaged by western-agitated fanatic movements. I don’t buy the myth about global war on terror for one second – government has not has national or public interests as a priority for decades – always follow the money trail and listen to the latest agenda the corporate media is pimping. Recently they have been cheer leading for the very terror factions we went to Iraq and the ‘stan to eradicate in a costly protracted conflict, now these anti-west maniacs are “freedom fighters” and their weapons are bankrolled by western financial interests – things that make you go hmmmmm.

  4. Does Obama have a foreign policy or is he making it up as stuff hits him in the face?
    There’s little hope of even smart diplomacy with the team of Obama and Biden with Kerry bumbling his way around. Putin is doing what he pleases, spitting in their faces as a new cold war unfolds.
    Does Canada have to take the lead for the Western democracies? We better do something before the media party get their baby juggling,boy-man elected to the PM’s seat. If that happens we’ll be in grave danger on several fronts, he has no clue what’s going on in the world,is totally unfit for high office.

    Empty Chair Barry, however, knows exactly what he’s doing and that is to destroy the once great U.S.A. and raise the power of all our enemies.
    I know this is difficult to believe but trust me, it’s true and obvious.
    One can only imagine the damage a fawning Justine would do to gain the favour of such a bad man as Obama. Working in concert with him would reverse all the cred that Canada has gained in the past recent years. And further the decline of the Western culture.

  6. Watching what is going on in the middle east makes one totally understand how little Israel defeated 7 Arab armies. These guys are just hopeless as the Iraqi “army” vastly outnumbering ISIS in men and arms just drops them and runs away. Then they cry to the US to give us more arms, isn’t this the definition of insanity? The muslims are great protestors with vast crowds of men yelling how they are going to crush somebody. Not much when they actually have to fight as a force. Then the wailing begins.

    Obama’s refusal to approve kXL allows him to enhance his several goals.
    Weakening Canada….indirectly funding anti-fracking, anti coal, anti-KXL and anti-Gateway.
    KXL will strengthen the US and clobber OPEC including Venuzuela….
    I suspect these proposed air-strikes on ISIS are deliberately too little and too late.
    As far as ISIS, it has been queried “Where is the UN?”
    Quick answer….backing up Hamas.

  8. The West’s best policy is too promote hatred between the Shai and Suunis – not difficult to do and then let them just kill each other. From time to time, when they get their act together and go after outsiders, a few doses of carpet bombing might be need to get them to return to All Muslim on Muslim killing.
    As long as they are whacking each other, we should let them, encourage them, instigate them when necessary.
    Because as long as the these Wogs are killing each other, the civilized parts of the world have a chance for peace.

  9. OK, now remind me why conservative white males, who have had their identity shoved down their throats as the greatest evil ever to walk the face of the earth, should care whether we end up living under Sharia or not?
    Firstly, it is a conservative, male-dominated legal code. Secondly, it will smash the crap out of lesbians, feminists, homosexuals, and anyone who is pretty much everything the conservative white male is not, Third, it dismembers thieves, criminals and robbers, rather than glamourise them, and spend all its efforts ensuring that they are better understood. Fourth, it is highly likely that under the new regime, a great many conservative white males will be highly sought-after, as hard-working, family-oriented, and with natural organisational abilities, self-discipline, and clear-headed thinking skills.
    You know, after all is said and done, why would any conservative white male (as repeatedly demonised by the NDP and CBC) have a dog in this fight? I am still puzzled by that. Personally, if I were a conservative white male, I’d sit back, get out the popcorn, and watch the show….

  11. I suspect the leadership of ISIS is pretty much white conservative males converted to pislam or muzzies who were raised in western countries and picked-up the best organizational features of being white conservative males.
    When the Barbary pirates operated the best captains were Europeans who had converted to pislam – it was a good business move with the bonus of as much tail (from captured female slaves) as one could get.
    The Ottaman Turks kidnapped white, Christian boys from the Balkans to make up their elite troops. And so on…
    Islam justifies the worst in human behavior. That makes it very attractive to some people who would like to force society to accept their individual predatory behavior. The trouble is that eventually a pislamic society collapses on itself as it parasitizes its non-muslim populations. This is because everybody converts to pislam expecting to get in on the free lunch. That is the stage when they turn on each other. My worry is getting the remenant non-muslim populations out of these areas – why do we keep import mooselimbs when there are so many other outstanding candidates for immigration in these countries? Then when there is nothing left but mooselimbs we can sit back with a tub of popcorn and six-pack of beer and watch the show.

This middle class crap is unsustainable …. so … let the muslims reduce population, get everyone in line kill all the smart people IE Christians and Jews then let the smart apes like Obama, Soros and Gore run the planet with the co operation of other fine folks like the Chinese and others who cannot stand to see others enjoy freedom and prosperity.
    It seem all on track.
    The world is so easy to deceive. Especially when so few are paying attention.

Thinking about it …. rigid authoritarian religious code requires compromise of individuality as trade off …. religious fanaticism, an anathema to a thinking person …. not ready to do that yet but maybe things will get so bad that it reaches a point ………..

Regarding the U.S. policy to not arm the Kurds (or buy oil from them), it’s about not pissing off the Turks, questionable Moslem allies but all we’ve got in that pathetic part of the world, and continuing to show support for a central Iraqi government, inept and corrupt though it may be. In other words, it’s a policy certain to please no one and to have very dire consequences.

  20. Canada and other western democracries need to question continued alignment with US foreign policy. We should look at other treaty arrangements than a US dominated NATO.
    UK and France going along with and including leading-from-behind US in Libya was certainly a mistake.
    Inclusion of a supposed ally that undermines objectives is counterproductive. Better off without than with. Next time the coalition of the willing may need to exclude US participation: No, thanks, your assistance is not welcome!

  23. No they shouldn’t. The US would be wise to finally stop wasting blood and treasure on a futile endeavor. These people WANT medieval barbarism, the revel in it. They don’t want to be saved. So why bother? Pull out and isolate with a warning about any subversive or violent actions in Western democracies. Then after any first offense, Medina becomes a parking lot. Then a warning about any second offense resulting in Mecca becoming the world’s number one city in glass exportation if they persist. They will get the message.

    Come to think of it, there is little I like that I would be allowed to enjoy under sharia, so you can take your hard-working, family-oriented nirvana and shove it up the next available body orifice (hint: you may need to remove your head from there first).
