Stand up straight boy. The fast ones are going over your head. (Foghorn Leghorn)
I say, boy, we don’t linky to the CBC here, but if you want to see the Montreal CBC’s expose, scroll down to Most Viewed and look for, “Pregnant squirrel trashes couple’s Montreal home”.
It’s a cautionary tale of unprotected climneys.
Sounds like the couple is miffed that their insurance didn’t cover this.
Darn squirrels TRASHED their home : The living room was overturned — lamps knocked over, sofa cushions on the floor, window blinds shredded and chocolate wrappers all over the floor.
So glad the CBC is there to bring these stories to light.
Is it a Montreal thing? Around here squirrels know they get shot if they come near houses and they stay away.
But he was so cute, and seemed so friendly all the times we put out food for him! And now, we go away on vacation and the ingrate trashes our house. Hey, it could have been worse: here in Toronto raccoons are a way bigger problem than tree rats. Raccoons would have really trashed your hues (and yes, there are plenty of morons here in the centre of the universe who put out food for the raccoons, and whose houses have yet to be trashed).
Surprised the CBC isn’t advocating that there should be a law against it!
Israel has Hamas, Canada has squirrels.
Y’know, maybe we don’t have it so bad here after all, in spite of that fascist in charge.
I trust everyone here saw the next PM balancing the baby, like he’s gonna balance the budget.
I know all about squirrels from my teens. I was a yohawk.
You’re right, these urban idiots likely fed the tree rats, and when the humans were away the rats got into the big food box on their own. Couldn’t happen to more deserving idiots.
“Canadians come to CBC/Radio-Canada for engaging, informative and high-quality content they can’t find anywhere else. It’s clear that we couldn’t make this happen without our people.”
— Roula Zaarour, Vice-President, People and Culture
The CBC has a VP for “People and Culture”??????????????
Well aren’t most of the big news stories over yet? I think the USA politics scandal is over. Wasn’t it just Republicans lying again. I think I saw that on the news. And the Middle East? Ugh is that not over yet? /sarc
Scary. some truth accidentally leaked out of the Constantly Biased Corporation.
The lower classes must be getting uppity.
As the world burns, politicians and bureaucrats steal and maim like never before.State and party propaganda rises to a crescendo .
CBC.. look a squirrel.
I wonder, same person who produced that immortal shot of the floods a few years ago?
Anyone remember?
The inbred spawn of a CBC reporter was prattling on about biblical or unprecedented flooding, as the camera panned to a flood gauge just over its shoulder.
Where high above that water level were the high-water marks of 3 previous floods.
Pure comedy.
Who can’t chase a squirrel out of their home? If it was my home, I’d shoo the squirrel out, tidy up and have a good laugh. Calling CBC to cover it doesn’t even fit in.
We had a squirrel come in the home once when I was a kid. My parents coordinated with corn brooms and it went back outside.
There talking squirrels while 100, s of thousands of people are being forced from homes in Iraq or Syria. Many butchered because of Religious beliefs, including Muslims. Christians forced to flee or be killed.Islam taking over Europe more every day. Human relics thousands of years old being demolished by barbarians. Yet the CBC cares only about squirrels.
Because to admit what’s really going on in a World in flames, is to go against the cultural enrichment game.
It kinda ruins the socialist cultural equivalence mirage.
That we pay tax dollars for this bilge makes us stupid.
It’s because the squirrels are in Montreal, not Iraq or Syria. Probably something to do with required percent of Quebec content from the national lieberal broadcaster.
Were you really unable to find any news of “what’s really going on in a World in flames” because you were distracted by tree rats in Montreal?
They should make a squirrel registry.
Yeah, I fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up to a bat flying around the house. It had to have come through the chimney. I fell asleep again, don’t see it this morning. Waiting for the scream from my wife when she finds it, wherever it is.
We pay for this garbage that’s supposed to be about Canada but only seems to care about Toronto or Quebec. That’s the point. If they where private they could talk all day about irrelevancies.
SQUIRREL!
Which $1.1B is that?
