1. That’s economic stimulus isn’t it? All those construction jobs building … nothing.

2. Have always wondered whether a government program where employment is provided to anyone wanting gubbermint money making bricks in there own back yard instead of receiving welfare. There would be a price paid for the bricks which was higher than the price paid for productively made bricks so it would not interfere with this product in the marketplace.
   This naturally means the only customer would be the gubbermint. The bricks would then be supplied for any area requiring land fill after being counted and crushed to maintain some control and at least slow down the process of developing a political corruption program. Sometimes described as a Lieberal Program for the good of the taxpayer.

3. That’s pretty well the logic. Former finance minister Dickhead Dwight Duncan defended $100 lunches on civil servants’ expense accounts as a good thing on the grounds that it injected money into the private sector. My (unanswered) question to the putz was: “If billing the taxpayer for a $100 dollar lunch is good for the economy, wouldn’t a $200 lunch be twice as good?” The sad thing is, most of Ontario’s citizens can’t see the fatal flaw in the formula.

Well we can only hope that ontarians grow a brain in the next half a day and realize that if they vote these criminals in again and their budget goes through the same way they previously proposed then a financial downgrade is imminent and in probably 3 to 4 years we will be bankrupt (if we are not there already). You can’t sustain the level of debt with government jobs (Teachers, Health care workers and provincial employees) because that money just comes from taxpayers so it more redistribution than real economic growth. Sad to watch really

   And these Wynners are the direct descendants of the fools and bandits who enabled his massive abuse of taxpayers..

8. Polls currently have Liberals/Tories tied at 36%, another has Liberals at 33%, Tories at 31%.
   It’s going to be close by the looks of it,depends on whether a lot of disgusted voters get the hell out and VOTE,rather than bitching in the coffee shops of Ontario.
   I’ll stick by my prediction: Wynne to win a small majority.
   My track record this Spring has been excellent; I chose the Bruins over the Habs in six, Anaheim over LA in 7, Chicago over LA in 7,and last: LA over the Rangers in six.
   Let’s hope I’m running true to form on the Ontario election.

9. This kind of thing happens all the time, it is not that noticeable, since the cost is not as great, though that is where it starts.
   By the time it becomes millions and more, nobody that does not pay attention is going to notice it. The politicians, their handlers and strategizers (sic) count on it.
   As it is, politicians do not care one penny what they spend money as long as the optics look good.
   All the rest can be handled by “spokesmen” trained in blowing bad wind hither and yon.
   The larger problem with this is that people don’t hold the bottom feeders accountable. This is understandable since those that vote, for the most part, look at the photogenics as opposed to substance, as limited as it is.
   In this country the population is fractured by recent immigrants from Asia, Arabia and Africa, where these segments vote for one of their own, not necessarily because they are the same, they only understand their language, not the common language, English in the west.
   These immigrants can and are being told all kinds of bullshit simply because they have no clue what the English or French speaker is saying.

Have sent letters to the mayors of Regina and Saskatoon urging them to send a trade mission ASAP to Ontario to encourage small to medium size businesses “to come on down” to Saskatchewan which has been open for business since the election of Premier Brad Wall. Just don’t bring your inane Liberal ideas/ideals!

11. I predict that the Ontario Lieberals will win again. It is what the people of Ontario deserve. In the past they re-elected corrupt McGinty, and they will elect Comrade Whinny. Let them shot themselves in the foot. Ontario has gone too far down the hole to ever recover. The west needs to have plans to separate from those idiots.

    Actually Chiefio @ Musing from The Chiefio, did a take on the tyranny of the cities, a couple of years ago, possibly it is time to recreate city states.
    Rather than allowing the mob in the city to pillage the producers in the surrounding areas, yes I mean Toronto, what if we make cities like Vancouver, Toronto and any others where the green ghouls rule, into mini provinces of their own.
    Then they will have to live with the immediate consequences of their idiocy instead of dragging entire provinces down with them.
    Imagine their horror at having to pay their own way.
    We could claim we are giving them power to match their place in the country.

13. Indeed John. City folk believe they are subsidizing the rurals. They think that because they make all the money and then pay the taxes. But the truth is that shuffling paper and stealing other people’s wealth destroys wealth. They are drones without any productivity – they are a drag on society.
