  1. While they’re at it why nor give husbands a paid day or more for them coping with PMS fall out each month?

  2. Aaaah, Uuum, such fertile ground for “comments”, butt a smart man would not do so:-))))

  3. See post above of how to deal with it. And people wonder why we have man caves?

  4. Ohhhh I’ve coped with it OK, I had the camper loaded and stocked at all times and when PMS fallout came I’d do overnight fishing trips – shower and change for work in the camper then home from work to see if the red mist had cleared , if not, repeat cycle until home is bearable again.
When the mist cleared we’d celebrate with some wine and a fish dinner.

  5. Okay, here’s the deal:
I’ll allow the paid time off on the sole condition that my brothers and I get to cash out all of our unused time upon retirement.
    Also: Gord… just wow. :-)))

  6. Y’know, the world pays a lot of attention to the trials and travails of women, but not so much to those of men,and it’s about time we had our day in the sun.
While women may suffer from their periods, men suffer psychologically from a very common phenomenon which is unnamed but for want of a better phrase, “my team just got their ass kicked syndrome”,which results in a deep depression and often results in the imbibing of copious amounts of depressants just to help us cope.
Example;just a few days ago, my team, the Boston Bruins, were soundly spanked by the Montreal Multinationals, after I bragged all over the internet and in person to anyone who’d listen that Boston had it won in six. I feel humiliated and ashamed, and consequent remarks by fans of a different faith, have objectified and dehumanized me.
All men in the same position should get a few days off with pay and maybe a voucher for a case of sorrow-drowning elixir from the nearest government LCB.
It’s only fair. And life today is all about fairness.

So, what are these “cups” made of, recycled light-bulbs? I can see where the shards may cause discomfort, irritability, and heavy bleeding.
Perhaps if we get rid of the type of men who choose to involve themselves in women’s activities this will all go away. We all know what type of women blab on and on about their time of the month, and we know what type of men condone it.
    I recommend fly-spray.

  8. How about leaving the women at work and letting the guys take “menzies” leave? We are the ones who really suffer.
    /sarcasm by the way

  9. Well, when i worked in aviation (not to defend women) there was a couple of women who were absent 2-3 days a month consistently, how did we remedy it blatant ridicule, jokes ad nauseum until they would just take “bathroom breaks” instead they would come back all teary eyed ect ect….as soon as they would open there mouth about it not being fair, i would say you have a ton of options stop whining being the main one. but you can Quit, suck it up,admit openly to every man standing here that you don’t want equal rights you want special rights, you can openly admit that when you leave , the MEN have to do what ever it takes to make up your 8-24 hours of build time including staying late, coming in early. If you will admit this to the 7 men standing here in front of you we will never make fun of you again.
She was furious, but ultimately apologized and said thank you she would after a few months just crack a joke about it. And carry on, on other women i worked with on a different crew would get migraines and would be crying while she worked but refused to take time off even after being told to go home and feel better she would get mad at us. We did everything in our power to make her few days of hell as easy as we could, give her bench work so she could sit down, if she wanted to lay down we could giver the work on the belly of the plane so she could lay on the creeper. ect ect i had a lot of respect for that young lady, (her parents were/are farmers) she was always welcome to come for a beer with the guys other prettier girls at work hated her we loved her. in fact if she didn’t come for beers it was kinda boring sometimes she always gave the guys someone to razz, she gave it just as good as she took it.
Amazingly (a different girl)the prettiest girl little dainty big chested blonde blue eyed hottie was a very tough woman she wouldn’t miss work for nothing she loved it was smart articulate and detailed (a little slow) in her work but produced good results carried her own weight trouble with her is to many guys would get distracted by her stupid flirtatiousness that we would never get any work done like wearing a tight low cut shirt then rolling her coveralls down to her waist claiming it was to hot guys would just stare it was sooo funny we would bug each other she would laugh.
I was a little smarter (so i thought) she would wear funny t-shirts with funny sayings on them so i would ask her to stay still so i could read her shirt….one day she smiled after i got an eyeful then asked me what her shirt said….i was so embarrassed ..i just told her to shut up…she laughed i said i cant help it i’m a guy ok!! she laughed and said you boys are sooo silly. all i was thinking was milk!! lolol. she quit went to westjet. i think every woman is different i know for a fact some of the women i have worked with would be utterly insulted and disgusted at such a notion. That would require them to basically admit they are not equal to men and they bust there boobs to earn our respect and we rightfully give it to them for them to be kneecapped like this would send some of them up a flagpole. It’s an insult to women. It will cause women to confront there natural roll which is uncomfortable sometimes in a working professional environment, and men as well having to make up for lost time due to a women “needing” time off for her period talk about awkward.
me:hey shelia i didn’t see you at work for a few days you ok?
Sheila: yeah i wasn’t “feeling” well.
me: hmmm i hope i don’t catch it.
sheila: ohh i am sure you won’t.
me:why do you say……ooooooooooohhhhhh. Ha! uhhhmm
Boss:can i see you in my office Paul?
    me:sure
boss: uhmm we have to suspend you for 3 day’s with out pay .
    me: whaaaa? why?
boss: because you sexually harassed Shelia and made her feel uncomfortable.
me:it wasn’t me that made her uncomfortable it was her period that did that.
    Boss:get out!
    me:f#$k you too!
LOL i should be a script writer.
