Whales, being intelligent creatures listened to the warmmongering class, though sometimes as is common with humans they missed or did not get the whole story.

Since hunting Blue Whales was banned in 1966 they have made a strong comeback. They should just pay the Japanese who have ignored the ban and get themselves a live one. The Japanese would strip it to the bone for them and save a incredible amount of work.Just drag the rotting whales out to deep water and sink them. All too easy I guess.

Since when are blue whales “Canadian” fauna? They are migratory sea creatures, and their peregrinations span the oceans of the world. They are no more “Canadian” than a Japanese glass fishing float that washes up on the coast of Vancouver Island.

I posted a link to an article about dolphins/porpoises being beached and dying because of extreme ice conditions on SW coast of NL and the difficulty encountered by marine atlantic ferries traversing the gulf and was told by Gord Tulk that he’s from that area and it’s a normal occurrence. Ah but my 70 year old mariner father told me most ice they’ve seen in 30 years out that way. Heh.
