Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

"Smalldeadanimals doesn't speak for the people of Saskatchewan" - Former Sask Premier Lorne Calvert
"I got so much traffic after your post my web host asked me to buy a larger traffic allowance." - Dr.Ross McKitrick
Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
Oh c’mon now, the earth is uncontrollably heating up, er, I mean, the climate is changing, dontcha know?
Well, Pauchauri and Gore say so, must be true……
Global warming causes unpredictable cooling, or something like that!
Didn’t Al Gore say that Manhattan would be under hundreds of feet of Ice unless I stopped driving my V8?
Hey, Paul, you got that backwards, it’s supposed to be flooded. For the lack of ice I take some credit as I drove my V8 today instead of the usual “straight six” daily driver.
Breaking News; Lone man found that still believes in glowball warming, no he does not work for the govt or media, is not an environMENTAList, and not a member of any Greenpeace Pembina Suzuki groups, no he is just effing stupid. If this winter does not stick a fork in the fraud, nothing will.
I keep telling people to be thankful for glowbull warming otherwise just think how cold it would be.
Re: Kate’s on-going title for these threads – I’ve no doubt it’s easy for a reasoning individual be be “amused” in their daily observation of the zombie horde as leftism now attempts to normalize/institutionalize neurosis.
Only a neurotic would continue in a pall of hysteria over catastrophic climate change when all objective and geological evidence indicates that this is a normal natural cycle which we can do nothing about – essentially doomsday is always just around the corner for these paranoiacs and they feel secure when perpetually terrified.
I feel sorry for them, but listening to their panic-stricken bleating and zombie-like mantras is “amusing”.
Global warming can only be stopped if we start paying higher taxes, become vegetarians, stop using cars, and shut down all power generating plants in the world. We must do it for the planet. So what if billions die of disease, starvation, and exposure to the elements.
Much like “Gun Control” is not about crime or safety but control…by governments in fear of their people (as it should be)…
Global Warming/Climate Change etc is about global socialist government with creeps like Obama/Pauchari/Suzuki/Gore in charge.
Time will tell but probably, in the fullness of time, Putin, the Ayatollas, even Kim Jung Un, and so on will be recognized as important champions against this menace.
Indeed, We do live in interesting times.
It snowed in the DC area last night (4/15). Does anyone know if there was a global warming hearing or protest scheduled?
Snowed a bunch here at Chez Phantom in sunny Southern Ontario yesterday, today its just cold. Got the fire going and everything.
Bring on the global warming.
Snowed a little here in central Alberta as well and more expected. Gives me another excuse to stay longer. Maybe I’ll get another Alberta moment before I head home.
Still ice on the puddles in the centre of the universe.
That means I’ll be hitting Lk. Simcoe for a limit of tasty yellow perch this friday, as the big ice slab gets harder and safer.
This is by far the latest I’ve ever seen good ice in 30 years of ice fishing.
Thank you Algore!
Detroit broke the record for snowfall this winter set in the 1800’s.
