2. If only Feinstein cared this much when it was just everyone else being spied on. Spy on the masses all you want, but not us elites.

   When there’s one law for the elites and another for the commoners, tyranny is just around the corner.

5. The current administration is doing its best to destroy liberal democracy in the US>

7. Given the existence of the Presidential pardon, which could be applied, one would think, to the President himself
   (i.e. the President could pardon himself) it is true de facto if not de jure that what the President does and authorises
   is not illegal. The only remedy against abuse of Presidential power is impeachment.

8. This is the kind of thing you would expect from the KGB (Kind Good Boys) where every 5th citizen is a government informant.
   Spies spying on the spying committee, the Ouroboros lives!
   An indication that ‘civilization’ is circling the drain, systemic tyranny…

   Not to mention that Feinstein-Lee amendment also tried to introduce some protection of habeas corpus to military detention courtesy of the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act).
   But who needs a right to a trial, before a constitutionally recognized court these days?
   So maybe this is a little CIA ‘payback’?

10. A predictable media piece: strong on innuendo, short on details.
    That aside though, and love those senators or hate ’em, a national intelligence organization should have no power to deny information to a duly appointed and properly vetted parliamentary intelligence committee.

    Not around the corner, that is pretty much the definition of tyranny right there.
    Those ‘removed documents’ are in safe keeping, …along with Cap’n WaffleSnarfer’s Birth Certificate and college transcripts plus the classified material from the National Archives Sandy Berger stuffed down his pants.
