  2. Lower-Middle class workers are the Americans most getting hurt by seemingly everything these days. This is but yet another example.
    47% of Americans don’t pay any federal income tax. The number of Americans receiving some sort of direct subsidy (welfare by another name is still welfare) is most certainly over 50% of the population. So the incentive to go out and work hard is becoming diminished for more & more people every day. The sad/ironic/scary thing is that Democrat politicians *like* it when more people end up on government programs because these people then tend to mark ballots with “D’ for the rest of their lives.

  3. This has and is happening here in Ontario except from high energy prices and excessive taxes, we’ve already adjusted to the bloated taxation for health care.
    The middle class is being squeezed by the pressures to keep up with extreme salary and pension benefits of the ‘new rich’ our many layers of government workers, and the ever increasing cost of the parasitic class, those who demand subsidized housing along with ‘payments’ for life.

  4. Anybody have any hard numbers on what we as Canadians pay for healthcare (I know that each Province is it’s own entity) through our excessive taxation compared to what this new “affordable” pricetag is?
    Could some real bean-counters please step up to trough and give us a peak into who is really paying more!
    That would be awesome!!

  6. Wow, just wow: they should have asked how many of these people voted for the Democrats. Let me answer that: McKeesport, Pennsylvania is in Allegheny County. It is Democrat country. As of November 2008, over 62% of the registered voters were Democrats. Not surprisingly therefore, in 2012, Obama beat Romney by 14 + points in this County.
    It is stunning to believe the American people feel for that “big lie” that this Act in any way would be “affordable”. A Krauthammer says it’s title (the “Affordable Health Care Act”) is all too Orwellian. But a complicit media, and a incredibly ineffective opposition, I suppose, made it possible.
    The simple question these folks should have asked when Obamacare was being passed, was: “How can my premium and deductible not increase, if my insurance company is now required to insure previously un-insurable, high risk people?” The answer was clear – but the obfuscation of Obama and his liberal co-conspirators, was, disastrously persuasive.
    This type of disaster should mean the Democrats will be out of power for generations; unfortunately, their constituency of dependents is becoming wider and wider through their efforts to create a bigger and more intrusive government, in a deliberate effort to entrench themselves in power.

  7. Small wonder many congressmen and senators are loath to hold public meetings. Down here is southwest Ontario we get access to a lot of USA news, talk shows and so forth. It would not surprise me in the least when the shooting starts over there.

    But I suppose I do “feel” their pain, in an Clintonesque sort of way – that is, from a great distance and with a pretense of sympathy.

    Sociopaths lie , they are bold , they have almost no empathy and feel no remorse.
    Obama fits that description as well.
    He is seen over 28 times ( on video ) assuring every one they can keep their healthcare program if they like it.
    then once people found out Obama was lying, he said he never said that, that people misunderstood what he said
    bold lies, no conscience , no remorse
    Both are sociopaths.
    Any psychologist or psychiatrist analyzing the behavior of those men would conclude they are sociopaths.

  10. Hairy Reed is a moron and a Mormon, and there in lies a large part of the problem. He would not even be in the senate IF so called conservative Mormons in his state did not support him. And so we have another example of religion basterdizing the political system.

  12. I am not a religious man, I am not defending Mormons, but religions is not what has put Obama in power nor what has helped put all those insane liberals in power, or what explains why the main stream media, Hollywood, the education system and so much more is controlled by the left.
    then again leftism is a sort of religion…

    That question has an answer if the MSM would ask how each State paid for the uninsured & Medicaid (free) before ACA and how each State is “Now” paying for those services.. (SAME WAY)
    When Obama lost the Court Challenge RE: Medicaid (the States right to use Hospital Billing “over charges” of Insured patients to pay for the Uninsured & Medicaid) Obama & the Democrats should have aborted the ACA as it is now not just unaffordable, but having NO insurance is the cheapest & fairest option

I wonder how much time this small business owner, who should be spending his time running his business or enjoying the fruits of his labour has to spend shopping for insurance for his employees. This should not even be an employer responsibility. The whole system needs a reset.

  15. well, religion does play a much to large a part in politics. As to Hollywood, largely populated by lefty joos, usa media, 85% identify as Democraps, largely populated by lefty joos, politics in usa has statistically large # of left joos. Obumbles was supported to a large degree by rich joos, and a 78% jooish vote count. If you are looking for a “culprit” in this debacle look no farther than leftwing joos, some even support Obumble’s anti Israel stance.
