The Co-op upgrader has had far too frequent explosions within a major city’s limits. It is this type of management that gives ‘fuel’ for the envirofacists to push their agenda. They better get their act together. This affects us all.
One commenter at the link says the plant is old and hasn’t been properly upgraded except in a piecemeal fashion.
I hope the co-op managers take this seriously and do whatever it takes to upgrade the plant before a big one gets away on them.

Barb, we don’t need no stinkin fans, we also don’t need socialist management of the CO-OP upgrader either. This is not a problem with the technology (as it is with renewables) but a problem with maintenance. Maintenance which is being cut so that socialist managers can make as much profit (read bonuses) for themselves as possible (what a surprise).
