I reluctantly suggest Ann Coulter’s book Demonic (reluctantly, because of many people’s knee jerk reaction to her bombastic, grandstanding style) for a great chapter outlining Democrat’s despising of equal rights until they discovered it could get them votes. Then they combined their about face with the development of a dependent class through LBJ’s Great Society and a rewriting of history to cast a bad light on Republicans.

Blogging Tories need to use social media and Twitter in particular the way flash mobs are organized in an impromptu fashion, using this method to challenge the CBC when it engages in these types of politically-motivated stunts — except it would be much easier since, unlike a flash mob, only a single person would be needed to show up on the scene.
    Use Twitter to have the closest possible person show up at the scene and stand next to the reporter (such as the one featured in the link you’ve provided) holding a makeshift sign, with an arrow pointed at him, with a message like: “I’m a taxpayer, come talk to me about how you feel paying this guy’s salary while he uses/abuses his position for partisan political purposes.”
    I wonder how many seconds would elapse before the reporter and his camera operator jump in their vehicle and head to a new location to shoot, while their anchors and reporters back in the newsroom run subordinate narratives to his piece about how PMSH is trying to change the channel on criticism. Irony is completely lost on this lot.
