What is the difference between these people, & the White sheet folks?
Both are bigots , only different sides. Heck they even use the same obscuring slogans to separate people.
“Progressives” love making humans into caste systems based on surface, or social means. Including political leanings.Makes it so much easier to allow one group to be above the Law that should be for all. Special privileges by sexual preference. Skin color or gender.
Its also handy to make individual rights be eroded while promoting authoritarian group allowed rights.
The poster for the event lists an email for more information. It says to contact Amit Taneja at ataneja@hamilton.edu. I googled the email address and found this bio of him at his former job as Associate Director at lgbt resource center. http://lgbt.syr.edu/aboutus/prevstaff/amit-taneja.html
As you see he has the perfect (according to the left) ideology and sexual orientation. So he can do no wrong.
“I have been at the LGBT Resource Center since the summer of 2005. I was born and raised in India and I migrated to Canada with my family after completing high school. I completed my B.A. (Psychology) at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) in 2000 and my M.A. (College Student Personnel) from Bowling Green State University (Ohio) in 2003.
I worked as a residence director within the Office of Residence Life at Syracuse from 2003-2005 and am working on my doctorate in Higher Education Administration on a part-time basis. My research interests center around the identity development of LGBT students of color. During the school year, I am involved with the Fusion discussion group, the Creating Change Conference Team, Q Connections Mentoring Program, Coming Out Month, the LGBTA Learning Community, and I also provide general supervision and support for a number of projects and events.
I have also co-taught courses in the Intergroup Dialogue on Sexual Orientation (WSP230/SOC230), First Year Forum and the LGBT Studies Program. I recently completeted my term as the co-chair of the Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals. I also act as a consultant and speaker on behalf of the Consortium.
I am also pretty active in the Syracuse city community. I volunteer at the Q Youth Center in downtown Syracuse as a youth group facilitator, and also help out with local organizations such as SAGE Upstate. I have been volunteering with a group of community members to create a LGBT Community Center in the City of Syracuse, and also to enact Transgender protections in the Syracuse City Fair Practices Laws. I was honored to be named the 2009 Central New York Pride Parade co-Grand Marshall. Other than school and work, I enjoy DJing techno music, reading, and flying kites. I share a home with my partner Christopher, and our two cats – Calvin and Hobbes.”
I wish they would be honest and admit their own racism and how they wish to divide and racialise everyone else. How refreshing that admission would be!
Who are the donors to this university? I think they need to be contacted.
Hey, pink is a colour!
Its easy to spew your venom and hate to a responsive understanding audience that the full multicultural audience they claim to be representing.. Seminar one is for the victims and two is for the oppressors and three is for the group photos.. Everybody gets to be told what they want to hear without the inconvenience of people not agreeing with them.. People of colour might disagree with policy (cant let the whites hear that) White people might disagree (can’t let the coloured people hear that)..
They want to FILTER everything as if it was a computer model into one nice preconceived political message..
Pass it off as a group effort to lend weight to it.. Friggen social studies scam..
I’m assuming there’s no such thing a reverse discrimination in Multiculti, Trudeau Chartered Canaduh where minorities rule and the majority can STFU or face an HRC tribunal.
Ah, yes.
The Halls of Higher Learning.
Oh boy, what a conundrum this would present to the likes of Barack Obama, who is half white and half black. Ebony and ivory, all gussied up in the same superficially superior package.
More commie race baiters sanitizing their race war agendas as legit academic study – pretty transperant – only a deluded progressive zombie could assess it as anything more. We will see more of this ugliness as society’s moral compass is eclipsed by academic amorality.
The whites should boycott. Don’t show up. Stay away. Find something else to do.
University, an idea born of genius now largely run by morons.
Will Hamilton College be declining white funding as well?
Who will keep the lights on if they do?
Occam, this your lucky day, as you get a bingo for that.
This reminds me of when Kulaks or the children of known Kulaks were not able to find official employment or obtain apartments if discovered.
Osumashi is right about the donors being informed.
I wonder why the authorities think that having whites mix with blacks somehow precludes the provision of a “safe space”. Who do they believe is going to attack who?
I liked this comment on the page: “Will they have separate water fountains?”
I just barked with laughter when I hit the phrase “separate but equal”. That was the exact standard phrase the apartheid government in SA used in the 60s and 70s.
