  1. “No Warming Left To Deny…Global Cooling Takes Over…CET Annual Mean Temperature Plunges 1°C Since 2000
    By P Gosselin on 12. September 2013
Lately we’ve been seeing and hearing lots media reports of cooling and cold weather extremes. Global temperature data, such as HadCrut 4, show warming has disappeared altogether.”

I don’t know how that happened, but at least one of the links should work.
Don’t wait for those with an ideological slavery agenda to even acknowledge this.

  2. Globe and Mail, Thursday, Sept. 12. George Smitherman’s husband has thankfully been found alive, after having been missing for about 36 hours:
    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/toronto/police-believe-they-have-found-missing-husband-of-former-ontario-cabinet-minister-george-smitherman/article14243358/
The hubby was found wandering about some railroad tracks, as opposed to, for instance, in a shelter for battered men. If such a thing exists.
Smitherman says the reconciliation path ahead will be “long” and “hard”. Whatever could he mean by this?

  3. Globe and Mail, Thursday, Sept. 12. Kim Justin-il weighs in on Quebec’s proposed “charter of values”.

JT: “We believe in defending each other’s freedoms, not restricting them.”
Nonsense. Why are there so many laws on the books in Quebec (as elsewhere) that restrict individual rights and freedoms? There are thousands of them. Ever heard of Bill 101?
I’ve written before that culturally speaking, Quebec is practically a totalitarian state, except they cling to their unwillingness to give up their private health clinics. Over the past 30 years, rarely has any Supreme Court justice from Quebec aligned with the pro-freedom side in any judgment where the issue was clearly delineated.
JT: “The PQ’s plan is to divide the people of Quebec over a problem that does not exist. It creates two classes of citizens – those who hold religious beliefs and those who do not – under the pretext of secularizing a state that is already secular.”
I’m definitely leaning toward agreeing with this, “a problem that does not exist”, and the last phrase.
But I still think the man is a phony.

The eminently reasonable Ayman-Al-Zawahiri calls for good Muslims to do whatever they can in the USA to create a feeling of tension.
All jihadis living in the U.S. are being instructed to burn, bomb, rape, shoot, every little thing helps. The gentleman suggests that America can be economically damaged by numerous small attacks.
Or, you holy warriors could enter the 21st century, get an education, work hard and enjoy the fruits of decadent capitalism. Many people believe that hot chicks on earth are far better than virgins in heaven, which is only a theory.
It’s up to you, young Muslims, the choice is yours.

  5. “Climate models wildly overestimated global warming, study finds
    By Maxim Lott
    Published September 12, 2013
    FoxNews.com”
“Can you rely on the weather forecast? Maybe not, at least when it comes to global warming predictions over short time periods.
That’s the upshot of a new study in the journal Nature Climate Change that compared 117 climate predictions made in the 1990’s to the actual amount of warming. Out of 117 predictions, the study’s author told FoxNews.com, three were roughly accurate and 114 overestimated the amount of warming. On average, the predictions forecasted two times more global warming than actually occurred.”

“Thousands of Greeks took to the streets of Athens on Friday to protest against a violent attack on Communist party members by black-shirted supporters of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party which left nine people in hospital with serious injuries.
In what was described as a murderous attack – and the most serious violence since the extremist group was elected to the country’s parliament last year – about 50 men wielding crowbars and bats set upon leftists as they distributed posters in a working-class district of the capital late on Thursday.

“Rare agreement between left and right: Obama’s foreign policy is a disaster”
“The president’s foreign policy collapse has unsettled a flock of liberal pundits. Joe Klein, for example, writes, “He willingly jumped into a bear trap of his own creation. In the process, he has damaged his presidency and weakened the nation’s standing in the world. It has been one of the more stunning and inexplicable displays of presidential incompetence that I’ve ever witnessed. The failure cuts straight to the heart of a perpetual criticism of the Obama White House: that the President thinks he can do foreign policy all by his lonesome. This has been the most closely held American foreign-policy-making process since Nixon and Kissinger, only there’s no Kissinger.” And no Nixon.”
