We are witnessing the beginning stages of political collapse. The government and its leaders are being discredited on a daily basis. The mismanagement of fiscal policy, foreign policy and domestic policy, along with the revelations of the NSA conducting mass surveillance against all Americans has led critical thinking Americans to question the legitimacy of the politicians running the show on behalf of the bankers, corporations and arms dealers. The Gestapo like tactics used by the government in Boston was an early warning sign of what is to come. Government entitlement promises will vaporize, as they did in Detroit, with pension promises worth only ten cents on the dollar.
My best estimate as to what happens next, as well as Parts 1,2,3 can all be found HERE

Putin says, meow, meow, meow.
Obama says squeak, squeak, squeak.
Putin is having fun playing with Obama.
Meanwhile he and Assad can play rope a dope over the Syria crisis.
You forgot about the controlled media.
I watched an interview with a rebel in Syria saying how they launched the chemical attack by mistake.Putin has been saying this all along, yet no one in the west even reported it.
Why would the government launch a chemical attack when they are winning the war. Also the UN mandate was to only see if chemical weapons were used. They were not suppose to investigate by whom, there is no proof who used them. Most of These rebels are foreigner’s not from Syria backed by the Al-Qaeda.One of them asked about American involvement even said that the Koran says that your enemies should fight one another ie America and the Syrian government. Why are we baking them with arms when we are fighting them in Afghanistan.. Whats worse is Canada is letting in thousands of these refuges. You cant blame the people when all the news channels are lies and you will never know the truth.
I figure America will be in total isolation in a few years.
Which is bad for the World.
Obama will go down in History as the guy who destroyed the Pax Americana.
The Last Emperor in a dying chain of World law from Britain to now.
expect more war, lawlessness, obstruction of trade . With every Nation in a political jungle competing to survive.
All thanks to the Muslim Narcissist. Who is now the only American Idol of exceptionalism left. Exceptional in his destroying a pillar of Planetary peace. You can bet it wasn’t just stupidity either.
RD, you are crazy if you think this is all Obumble’s fault, we’ve (the west) have been going down the toilet for some time now, and have had help from many sides, INCLUDING THE RELIGIOUS WACKJOBS.
PETER, assad could try and pin the “job” on the rebels to try and foster an out come as we are witnessing, as, now they, with Russias help, can try and stop the west from helping to arm the rebels. Those manpads fro Lybia could play hell with assad’s air force, thus swinging the momentum back to the rebels, throw in the suicide bomber effect and assad is in trouble pretty quick. Assad may have just out manouvered Obumbles .
Now that was a long but very interesting essay. It mirrors what many here have said many times over the years.
A few takeaways: The US is in the bread and circuses stage and “no Wall Street banker left behind”.
And now Putin makes the current administration look like it could not even organize a ball tournament.
The founder’s republic died by increments over the last ten decades and is a hollow financial, moral shell waiting to be pushed over. Marx won, Hayek lost.
We are not far behind, as the person we had so much hope in has tinkered around the edges with admittedly needed crumbs such LGR, Wheat Board, but the federal and provincial governmental debts, the grip of Laurentian power brokers and the public service unions has not been dealt with one iota.
Funny how religion gets blamed for everything.
Must be some real hate involved.
Well,,, I just finished reading all four installments.
Depressing to say the least.
But coming out of denial is always depressing. That’s when you know you’re dealing with reality.
As much as I admire the facts and analysis presented, the average peon going to work having mouths to feed, just can’t deal with the facts presented.
Denial has become a maladaptive coping strategy. I see it all the time when trying to point out the obvious facts as these articles do.
Realizing there are no easy button solutions is one thing.
Stopping your everyday “life’ to become a doomsday prepper just isn’t in the cards for most people.
Reading these articles has just made me plan to get a bottle of Scotch and enjoy the decline.
For a few days anyways.
What our established religions have to do with the economy escapes me completely. If the USA wanted to help turn the economy around the first move is to make all energy much cheaper and get away from the green black hole completely. Imagine the boost to the economy if the price of gas/diesel dropped to 98 cents a gallon. Cost on everything from groceries to tourism would drop dramatically overnight. Of course that first step would take leadership and a middle finger to Hollywood, Gore, the IPCC, the EPA and a few million foam at the mouth brainwashed tree huggers. No such leadership in sight. Ban the Keystone XL , right……idiots.
Drill and sell as much shale oil as possible, cut every government program possible, and when greenies get in the way make bio diesel from them. Done.
Isn’t it obvious what religion has to do with the economy? The highest percentage growths in the US economy occurred when what was the common religion? If NME is right, it’s only when athism is rampant that you’ll have the greatest growth.
It’s freedom, and security, that cause growth. Autocrats or one-religionists fall in the same area by preventing freedom. Freedom of religion is one of the many forms of freedom that is needed for progress and individual affluence. Looking at history though, the relatively free societies that have been godless have killed a lot more than those who Believe. Not all of them, but those who slip lack that all important moral lifeline.
I would suggest reading all the parts of the essay, as it talks about the end of our comfortable lifestyle and possibly some chaos.
“PETER, assad could try and pin the “job” on the rebels”
That may well be true, but when the so called leader, of the rebels, says in an interview that it was them who did it. Showing how, and where and talking a bought how they got the stuff from a US friendly country, It brings these things into question. This is not the 1st time you have been lied to. It started with the Lusitania WW2(Divers found the weapons, so a lie) then the Gulf of Tonkin Vietnam(admitted lie) weapons of mass destruction Gulf war, (unless you are brain dead a lie) and now this. I’m not sure whats going on, but my point was the news is so controlled now, that these simple facts will never make main stream news.
The one premise of the article I concur with is that we are witnessing an epic era in American history akin to the collapse of the soviet Union. The American power structure centered in Washington, Wall Street and the Pentagon is in melt down. Currency debased, Debt ridden, treasury robbed, a war making economy with no more money, credit or willing cannon fodder and a political class with no credibility/trust with the voter or other nations.
Collapse is imminent – will the old order go out on a mushroom cloud or civil war and extensive economic depression or will they collapse the economy, loot whats left and hide out in gated community bunkers until the mob die-off makes it safe to emerge?
We are not in a dissimilar place in Canada. Look to our own ludicrously high housing markets as the prime example. Here in Nova Scotia, we’ve got a provincial election campaign on, and the sitting NDP premier came out yesterday advocating some new system for buying homes for students/young professionals. He didn’t have the details worked out but speculated that it could even include NO DOWN PAYMENT REQUIREMENT.
I wasn’t going to vote for him anyway, but that alone disqualifies him from continuing to sit in office. Halifax’s real estate market is already overheated in my opinion. Goosing the pumps like Dexter would propose will turn it into an absolute bloodbath.
– A piece of land (5 acres minimum)
– A wood heating/cooking stove
– Gun and ammo
– seeds
– 100 lbs of dried navy beans, some molasses and a piece of salted pork fat
These are the base ingredients to start a survival kit…Getting out of city’s with more than 10,000 occupants would be a good start…Better hurry up though…Times running out real fast.
It’s time for an “American Spring”?
Many states have succession movements as of late many rural (Non-Denver) Coloradans are moving to split the state into a North & South Colorado.
Don’t forget a couple large bags of quality dogfood. By law it has to be fit for human consumption and can go a long way to get a person through the winter. Triple stockpile if you actually have a dog. Cheap insurance.
“A piece of land (5 acres minimum)”
Here’s the problem is when you get your 5 acres
1)Building permit they wont allow shacks, 1500 square foot home min.(its so they can get more taxes)
2)Must have a septic system no out house or composting toilet.
3)Must have electricity no wind power allowed (This can cost you big bucks to bring it in)
4)Must be to code and inspected, alternative cheaper construction not allowed. ie straw bail ect.
4)Permits taxes zoning surveys inspections (bribes.. most places want and take them)
5)You cant build it yourself anymore, it must be done by a licensed contractor(they will rip you off)
Now you are 150,000 or so in the hole, stuck with a big mortgage and a government bent on taxing you out of your home.
Now the SHTF so the government needs more money, who do you think they are going to rob and steal from, the home owner or the renter?.
Buy it as recreational property and put whatever on wheels you want on it, or under it. Too much city thinking here.
