Consider this. As an iman this man is perceived by the youth under his charge to be a role model of Islam.
Next consider the four London, Ontario former South Secondary high school students who were indoctrinated and radicalized and then travelled abroad. Two of those former students died at an Algerian gas plant where 35 workers were murdered in a jihadist attack in which they took part.
Last consider that this iman may well be planting the seeds in hundreds of muslim youths to take up the cause of what can only be described, based on the video, as radical Islam.
Who knows is a few years there could be hundreds of his former students in Canada willing to … I’ll let you fill in the blanks.

As a libertarian, I support freedom of speech. What puzzles me is why freedom of speech in Canada is very selectively applied. I would suggest doing an experiment to ascertain whether there is a clear bias in how individuals are treated legally in Canada. Two groups of individuals would be recruited with the first group consisting of 3rd world brown-skinned primitive islamofascists and the second group consisting of Canadian white males. Both groups would randomly seek out flagrantly exhibitionist queers in Canadian cities and purify their souls through the use of stoning. If the police intervene, they would explain the purification ritual of the stoned individuals soul they were performing.
The null hypothesis is that there would be no difference between the sentences meted out to the primitive brown-skinned islamofascists and the Canadian born whites. I would suspect that one would need a relatively small N in order to falsify the null hypothesis as my prediction would be that white Canadians would receive far harsher sentences than the primitive islamofascist immigrants. Considering that the law is supposed to be applied equally, the results of the proposed experiment would be highly influential in showing that Canadian “justice” is not blind. It may be that the null hypothesis will be confirmed — that’s why one needs to perform experiments such as this. Given the stochastic nature of the subject population, one cannot perform age matching of subjects but one can standardize size and weight of stones as well as the force applied to the stones during the soul purification process.
So, all that’s needed is a source of funding and a group of volunteers who really haven’t got any plans for the next 20 years or so. An alternative experiment would be to send groups of islamofascists and white Canadians to queer pride parades to preach about the benefits of getting stoned to homosexuals. Variables to be measured would include number of police interfering with each groups freedom of speech and number of punches thrown at the advocates of stoning. There’s no reason that social science research has to be boring.
