As Carolla alludes to, the folks on the Left have NO solutions to helping poor Blacks & Hispanics rise above their squalor. Anyone who believes there will ever be an “honest discussion’ about race is delusional. There are voting blocks to be maintained by the most corrupt and corrupting political party (Democrat) in the western world.
Corrupt Demos are right up there and Canada’s Liebels are close behind. There cannot be a ‘honest discussion’ as these political parties are exploiting the very people they say they are trying to help. A corrupt and morally reprehensible effort.

Someone once said that if people were given a clue about how the banking system really works there would be a revolution by tomorrow morning. By analogy, if an honest conversation about race were suffered to take place, it would only be a matter of time before the outraged plain people of America demanded a settling of the huge account their black brothers have rung up. Believe me, the race hustlers would get their race war—and, as always happens when Christians put their backs into fighting savages, the savages would lose.
Once our black brothers were safely dispatched to hell or Liberia, then—and only then—we could get on with an honest conversation about how best to settle the account of the banksters and communists and well-heeled traitors in high places who thought it was a smart idea to import packs of savages unfit for civilized society in the first place. The banksters’ account is much longer than the account charged by the savages themselves, and the hour is very, very late for settling it.
This, of course, is why the banksters and communists and traitors in high places will never permit anything of the kind while they still have a choice. They are, to be sure, unfathomably evil. If they were as stupid as they sometimes seem to those who don’t know any better, we’d have seen them off a long time ago.

The Race Discussion is slowly turning in the right direction because Bill O’Reilly properly re-characterized the discussion from a “race problem” to a “behavior problem”. The self-destructive behavior that plagues black communities has the same effect irrespective of race.
If you want a discussion on race you need to define it.Black is not a race. There are many black races. Many of those who identify themselves as black are a mixure of races. Obama is a genetic mix of European, Arab, and some African race. We hear the term African-American but seldom hear the term Euro-American, I wonder why?

O’Reilly nailed it yesterday; although, if you’d read my comments at sda a few weeks ago when this “conversation” started, you’d already know my opinion that the most important issue when it comes to black unemployment is: illiteracy in the black community. So when O’Reilly says that “many of the kids can’t speak proper English and can barely read”, it’s an indictment of the public school system and their insidious relationship with the public sector teachers unions; and he’s right!
A poor black kid doesn’t have a chance in the USA when they are being passed-along because of Social Promotion. Heck, Rachel Jeantel claims that she has a “3.0 GPA” in one interview; but in court admits that she “cannot read cursive”(‘handwriting’ for Canadians). What chance does this girl have when she doesn’t even know she’s functionally illiterate? Especially after she’s been lied to by the crooks(that’s right I said it) working in the public school system and told she’s ‘above average and doing just great’.
IMO black people(and all Americans) have every reason to be outraged; the problem is, the outrage is not directed where it should be: at the government and their co-conspirators!
The decay in western society is directly related to the theft of the education of millions of citizens over two or more generations. And we wonder why our kids today admire history’s villains and pine for Social Justice.

Dan, precisely! The whole Theresa Spence fiasco illustrated that, in Canada, exactly the same dynamics apply. Morally bankrupt politicians like the Shiny Pony and Tommy Mul-not-so-cair show up for photo-ops with a woman who appears to being doing much to PREVENT many of the people on her reservation from getting out of their squalor. And what have those two aforementioned politicians done to help such Aboriginal people improve their lives? Nada.
