Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Pretty damning.
What a lying SOS. My main question is why the media has not gone after the taxpayer funded institutions that used tax dollars to feather his nest. Says a lot about the quality of these folks as well.
Shiny Pony is quite correct.
No matter how long and hard you search,
you will never turn up an invoice for 1
cent from his booking agent to any fools
wanting to line his pockets in return for
future seats on a Liberal gravy train.
I’m honestly trying to get my head around what pathetic soul sucking freak would give this dipsh*t a nickel to hear him speak.
Really? common now.
Liar, liar, little poopy pants on fire!
He took money from unions and then later vowed to help kill C-377 in whatever way he could. Am I the only one that sees a problem with this?
Sgt Lejaune >
Yup typical con-man speak.
“I never charged a cent” – “I’ve never taken a penny”
Yea but if you asked about $20,000.00 well that’s a different matter.
This is the type of misdirecting and lying leadership the Socialist Liberals love.
Not only is he a lying sack of sh&*, we must remember that most of that money was stolen or misappropriated tax dollars. A lot of those fees came from public institutions funded by tax dollars, so we all get to fund the liberal party whether we like it on not.
But you know what? He has such nice hair that the low information voters will make him into the next PM and he will do just as much damage to the country as his father did.
That should become the Tory campaign ad for weeks.
For $20,000 The Liberals have a name for illegal campaign donations? Ding!! Alex, what would be speaking fees?
Awash in lies. The Toddler wouldn’t know the truth if it smacked him in the face.
Unfortunately, recent studies show that low-information voters in Canada, i.e., young Canadians, don’t seem to think that lying matters … as long as they don’t get caught. When they do get caught, their default position is “I didn’t do it. She did it. He did it. It’s not my fault. (Whining) I didn’t do anything.”
Toddler Trudeau has followed this script to a T.
I ‘spects this will all come back to haunt him come election time – an ad like this played relentlessly must have a seriously deletrious effect.
As noted, who would pay to hear this cringe inducing fellow to speak?
This will be the first time we’ll have a ‘scheduled’ election. I wonder, tactically if the CPC will take advantage of their superior war chest to carpet bomb ads say a month before the starting gun officially goes off. I ‘spects in the fullness this will be an issue over which the media party will howl like a pack of demented Dark Seekers
Just me ‘umble ‘pinion.
batb: I really like your Toddler reference.
In fact, I like the name Justin Toddler just as much as Justin Turdeau.
By the way, your comments are bang on. Low info voters wouldn’t know an issue of importance unless they were talking to their shrinks or guidance councilor. They believe an issue is about relationships gone bad or the latest who’s who in the Pop world.
He plays word games when clearly he wouldn’t have garnered his fees in the first place if he weren’t an MP. He claims he was a private citizen so broke no rules and was paid for his charisma, good looks and pedigree only; and, he never discussed politics – nope not once. Good luck with that one.
The weasel words his father and others like Chretien employed don’t fly any more now that our ecoomic influence is truly national, no longer confined to the Ottawa/TO/Montreal triangle of influence peddling. Trudeau the younger (unlike his father who had paid at least some of his political dues by his son’s age) won’t get away with “zap you’re frozen” or “I put pepper on my steak” BS.
He’s “ahead in the polls” and that’s supposed to mean something. Half of Canadians don’t want Mr Harper as PM; oh no the guy’s gotta go. Laughable IMO. We have a three party system (sorry Greenies, BQ don’t count at this time), so at least 50% better disagree with you or you’re going to get a rather large majority next election.
Then again polls are accurate, just look at the BC and Alta provincial elections, right?

I just got an E-mail from Justin asking me to donate $5 to his campaign, and be entered into a draw to have a barbecue with Justin!
So, for $5 I can have the chance to meet the Canadian Messiah!
Or I could go buy a Lotto-6/49 ticket and hope to win $11 million.
But, I shan’t make my decision unless I know whether I’ll be considered a “pathetic soul sucking freak ” by anyone here.
Now,be honest,if you could go back in time a couple of thousand years, and could attend the Last Supper with the then Messiah for the equivalent of $5 in today’s money, would you do it?
“Hoist on his own petard”(Hamlet-Shakespeare)
” I did not take money as an MP” + ” I did not have sex with that woman”
It’s genetic in the lefty creed, don’t try to analyse it, or understand it, just expect it and act accordingly.
” I did not take money as an MP”….of course it depends on what your definition of “as” is.
And he never put his signature on that coalition agreement either.
I don’t this clown will even make the next election. We are getting pretty good at this folks, take a bow.
From the ‘Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons’:
“. . . to arrange their private affairs so that foreseeable real or apparent conflicts of interest may be prevented from arising, but if such a conflict does arise, to resolve it in a way that protects the public interest . . . not to accept any gift or benefit connected with their position that might reasonably be seen to compromise their personal judgment or integrity except in accordance with the provisions of this Code.”
Thank about this and then think about the unions, the $20 000 speaker fees and the union-transparency bill that he won’t support.
No Conservative politician would survive this but the media gives Junior a pass.
Do you think you could attend a BBQ with JT and a bunch of fawning liberals and complete the operation with going insane or being charged with murder? I couldn’t. Its like flipping through a copy of the Toronto Star – my blood pressure can’t handle it any more.
He was peddling and accepting influence. He’s a crook but he’s the useful idiot’s crook.
As others have pointed out, the shiny pony has indicated that he’s never given a talk for which he was paid one cent; the minimum he’s charged appears to be $10K. I’m sure he considers himself quite intelligent in having thought up the “never taken a single cent” remark. Given the fawning admiration of the MSM for the shiny pony, it’s very unlikely that anyone except, perhaps, Ezra Levant would ask him whether he’s accepted $10K to give a talk.
I’d be concerned about the Conservative party using the video of the shiny pony indicating that his speaking fee was greater than 1 cent. Time to sic Ezra on the shiny pony to get him to deny that he ever spoke for $10K. Of course, it may be that as refined an individual who is the spawn of Turdeau never concerns himself with such mundane aspects of existence such as money and has underlings that engage in the boring details of ensuring that his eminence is properly rewarded for allowing the proletariat to see him in person.
One thing that the shiny pony doesn’t have is Slick Willy’s intelligence; Slick Willy could tie up an inquiry into his nocturnal white house interactions with Lewinski by asking for the definition of “is”. Anyone who’s read Korzybski’s General Semantics can immediately identify what Clinton was up to whereas the shiny pony can just emit a series of vacuous platitudes to adoring pneumocephalics who believe that the tingle in their leg they feel in his presence is all the information they need to know who to vote for.
Everyone who attended that meal ended up hanging from a tree in one way or another.
don:
I know that you are being sarcastic when you call that piece of slime “the Canadian Messiah” and say “Now,be honest,if you could go back in time a couple of thousand years, and could attend the Last Supper with the then Messiah for the equivalent of $5 in today’s money, would you do it?”.
However, I am totally unable to describe my feelings at seeing that useless excrement compared to the only perfect human who ever existed, and a barbeque with him compared to the origin of possibly today’s most sacred Christian ceremony.
Of course, Christians are not allowed to feel offended or outraged and Jesus Himself told His followers “But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” (Matthew 5:39)
I will only say that I am saddened at your choice of contrast, even though that comparison actually is the furthest you can get from the character of Turdo jr. I am infinitely more saddened by the thought that there are people who would think that is a valid comparison and will be permitted to vote in the next election.
BTW, Oz:
The one exception was John: After being exiled to the island of Patmos where he finished his gospel and transcribed the Revalation from communication from Jesus, he returned to Ephasus in about AD 95.
“It is said that John founded and built churches throughout all Asia, and worn out by old age, died in the sixty-eight year after our Lord’s passion and was buried near the same city (Ephesus).” (BiblePath.com)
That video was boring! The guy kept saying the same thing over an dover an dover an dover an dover like it was a loop or something while the other side scrolled. Gawl! I just turned off the sound ‘caus I was like, I get it, I get it, I get it already.
“…My main question is why the media has not gone after the taxpayer funded institutions that used tax dollars to feather his nest…”
And mine. But it points to one thing, doesn’t it? The media has exactly the same view of how public money should be spent as do far too many politicians and bureaucrats on the taxpayer tit: piss ‘er aginst the wall…and call for another free round for the house.
RVR,of COURSE I was being sarcastic! Didn’t think I had to point that out!
don: yes, i acknowledged that. the comparison, even sarcastic, still bothers me, and i’m not permitted to complain about it – the worst part is that some low info voters actually do regard him as some kind of messiah.
however, we Christians are big on forgiveness. will you forgive me?
Or is Trudeau just inept or incompetent for prime time?
On Thursday Trudeau said ( he wasn’t being quoted ) but in his own words and voice
“While speaking as an MP I have never charged anyone a single penny – I never took a cent. I never charged a cent of anyone as an MP or while an MP”
That is the quote in its’ entirety nothing deleted or added – exactly as he said it. There is no wiggle room for fees paid “while an MP”.
This statement is not one given on the spur of the moment, or when ambushed with a question, but the subject has been discussed for days – his answer was deliberate and as forthright as one would expect.
The problem for Trudeau is that the answer is a lie.
I expect Canadians should be alerted to this naked truth by the fact and truth finding media.
