So maybe when a foreign country has taken the time and effort, and spent taxpayer dollars to arrest, try and imprison someone there is a damn good reason for it? Imagine that!

Khadr, then 15, was shot and captured after throwing the grenade that killed Speer in 2002.

In 1995 Omar Khadr’s dad (Ahmed Khadr) was arrested by Pakistan’s government for having financed the bombing of an embassy in the capital. Prime Minister Chretien succeeded in getting Ahmed Khadr released from Pakistani prison.

Intervening on behalf of suspected terrorists in foreign jails is what the politically correct crowd does. Remember it was Chretien who pressured Pakistan to set little Omar’s daddy free. Now the same liberal mind-set is at work to put Omar back on the streets, despite his openly-avowed continued loyalty to the jihadist cause.
What did Edmonton ever do to anybody to deserve Baby Omar? Since he’s in Edmonton, why not give him to the PPCLI to play with. They rehabilitated hundreds of Muslim terrorists in Afghanistan using the only truly effective method of rehabilitation.
Speaking of root causes, let’s not forget that PMJC personally intervened and secured the release of Papa Khadr from a Pakistani jail in 1996. Papa Ahmed was a suspect in the bombing of the Egyptian embassy in Pakistan that resulted in the death of 15 people. Had Ahmed not been released would a then 10 year old Omar have followed a path that led to the battlefields of Afghanistan?
Digging deeper into root causes, the Kahdr clan moved from Canada to Peshawar, Pakistan in 1985 because Mama Kahdr didn’t want her brood raised in a western culture she despised. It’s worth noting that Omar was born in Toronto on September 18, 1986, a year after the family had moved to Pakistan. Can you say Canadian of convenience?

That lawyer is a sneaky weasel. Khadr wasn’t merely accused of throwing a grenade, he bloody well did it. And it wasn’t in the heat of battle, either. He had feigned surrender in order to draw his victim in closer. That is in itself a war crime.
Raymond Ibrahim in his book Crucified Again identified why we in the West don’t view muslims as a danger. As we all could guess it is Academia, Media and government. They consistently downplay the dangers of Islam. Canada now has over 1 million muslims of which in a survey 10% or 120,000 think it was okay to behead the PM! One of my lefty friends believes there is no danger from muslims and it is just racist fear mongering to say there is.

An easy way to solve the problem would be to place this POS among the general inmate population and quietly let it be known that if the POS had a fatal “accident” then parole might be speeded up. That’s also likely to have the beneficial effect of lefty head explosions from the cognitive dissonance of one of their special darlings being offed by another member of an “oppressed” group.
Omar Khadr will get the same praise and parade once released as Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi did. Count on it. We have the popular press, aging hippy hags who never married and a liberalised generation who think this confessed killer is awesome. When (not if) Omar Khadr strikes again, THEY will be the recipients of his “mercy”. Don’t feel sorry for them.
