  1. Well I’ve been in a number of hairy situations over the years. But looking at the video, my impression is either these guys are bat$hit crazy or are much more brave than I have ever been. I’m leaning towards the former rather than the latter.

  2. Still need balls of steel.
On May 27, 2013, TIV 2 intercepted a large tornado near Smith Center, Kansas. The vehicle was struck by large debris from a nearby farm and suffered damage to the roof-mounted anemometer and at least two breaches of the crew compartment when the roof hatch and one of the doors were compromised. Before the anemometer was destroyed, it recorded winds of 150 to 175 MPH, placing the tornado in the EF3 to EF4 range on the Enhanced Fujita scale[7]. (Wiki)
2 breaches of the crew compartment should tell them they were lucky to get out alive.

  3. Courage…..
I’m a reasonably pragmatic and realistic fella….and am of the opinion that a Main Battle Tank would probably be a lot safer than those TV1 or TV2.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever to go forth into the eye of a toranado in a MBT…..if I had to…other wise I would just watch the sucker pass.
