The media in Sweden sometimes report on studies in which researchers submit several job applications, some with names that sound Swedish, and some with more foreign-sounding names. Immigration is a problem if those who are entering into the country do not assimilate into the culture by adopting the traditions and “spirit” of that culture.
If that culture, which has a policy of no alcohol abuse, allows people in who are are drunken-brawlers and they are not told upon entry that they have a choice to either adapt to the new culture or return to where they came from, there are huge problems ahead. The cost of extra policing, medical care, all the money spent on rebuilding the broken people and possessions will drag the society down from their potential and security.
We have people entering this nation and bringing their “culture” which is in direct opposition to our culture. Oil and water do not mix, and they know that.
Democracy only works if Judeo-Christian values are their base. Every culture which has chosen to ignore or turn from those values have imploded or been conquered in war.

As many have commented on the various newspaper articles dealing with the “youth” riots, the police could have ended them in about 15 minutes by simply shooting anyone who was destroying property. This is an inferior policy to letting people who own the property targeted by “youths” from shooting the hooligans as Sweden doesn’t allow concealed carry. If Sweden were an armed society, I’m sure that surviving “youths” would quickly learn some manners.
