IMO, there is something very creepy about Thomas Mulcair. His face gives something away every time he is on camera, but I haven’t quite figured it out. It could be that he was a Lieberal and can’t break the habit, but it’s more than that I think.
Feeling dirty while watching a politician isn’t unusual, but I also want to throw up. What is behind that bearded facade and the sick grin, I wonder?
Could it be an enemy of the Canadian people in NDP clothing?
Hairface should take a lesson from the BC election, where his Comrade, Brother Dix, tried similar tactics, and it failed.
The Dips are courting the Greenie whackos, but, the Greens are wackier, but this stance is alienating their blue collar base. At the end of the day, its a failed strategy.

And he’s quite consistent, too! A flow or there- who cares, right?
If the price of democracy is to have a couple of flim-flam artists like Andrew Weaver and Elizabeth May sitting alone in the legislatures while destroying the dippers, then I am all for it.
So lets encourage Thomas Mulcair to get more extreme.
Obvious angry Tom smelled the breeze blowing from BC and is re-tailoring his anti-petro rhetoric. As a arrant political rent-seeker posing as a populist, he’s always sniffing the political winds and resculpturing his narrative or reinventing his crusade to fit current conditions. A Dipper shape-shifter as it were. With the recent revelations about his lying and silence about his encounters with Quebec political corruption/bribes, I think we got’s us here a Gen-u-wine political skank.
Tom is probably the 2nd in a line of opportunist-posers the federal Dips have had as leaders. But then I can see the NDP has become so idealistically rudderless and devolved of integrity that Mulcaire was probably chosen because he shares the same given name as the Dipper’s patron saint – saint Thomas of Douglas (of the order of wheat field Malthusians).
Knock Shiny Pony if you will, but at least he might take the air of Mulcair’s tires. Given the choice between incompetence and competent wrong-headedness, incompetence is better.

Mulcair is my favorite Opposition politician. No matter what he says or does,Mulcair will NEVER excite the people of Canada enough to vote him to PM. Mulcair is just great as leader of the O-O, couldn’t ask for anyone better.
Justin Trudeau is far more worrisome, as he has old Liberal money behind him,and an increasingly under educated populace to fall in love with his image.If they ever lower the voting age to 13, we’re sunk!
Mulcair, I believe,would love nothing better than to be PM of a sovereign Quebec,one in which Canada still picks up the tab, but they do install guards at the borders to keep the Anglo influence out.
Mulcair flip-flops? I’d expect nothing less!

I missed the memo about Quebec MP’s having pipeline jurisdiction is Canada.

Seeing as this speech was on the 14th, he wouldn’t have known of the result of the BC election yet.
