  1. I heard a story about disability in England. I guess they had enough and instituted a test for everyone to ensure they were indeed “too disabled” to work. A full 45% DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP FOR THE TEST and a good percentage who did failed. We need the same thing and I suspect the numbers would be similar.

  2. “I don’t know how else to categorize what’s happening,” he added. “[U.S. added] 88,000 new jobs. The unemployment rate because of a terrible statistic is down to 7.6 percent. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful — 90 million Americans are no longer in the workforce.”

*note the number Rush is quoting is only different as he’s using disabled workers only, as outlined at Zerohedge.
Fortunately, domestic and foreign problems seem to be lightning up this week, which partially explains the move by Democrat Representatives to force the Washington Redskins to find a more acceptable name.

  3. I suppose that statistic of 13 workers for each person on disability includes people employed by the government, so their living is also paid for by taxes.

  4. It’s all part of the dependency agenda – the more people rely on Drm welfare crumbs the more life time voters they have.

  5. When I clicked on the story, right at the top was an ad on how to get $35,000 from the Canadian Federal govt. All you had to do was click on it and find out what it took to qualify, so we really can’t laugh at the US. Also, daryl, if we tried to do the same here it would be racist, sexist, homophbic and the disabled lobby would come down on you like a ton of bricks. I know there are lots of people who are disabled and working for a living and I don’t put them in the same category as the above example.

  6. The Progressives are pimping the mindless into slavery each and every way that works. Dependency requires a greater need for the Pimps until the dependents realize, too late, that there will be continually less free stuff to be had.
